Very nice,heat .

The rrp is seriously inflated! Heat as it's still a good price, but I highly doubt it has ever been £574

its single bed

I wonder when or if ever the government is gonna step in and stop this practice of over - inflated rrp..... argos and halfords seem to be the main culprits

The government does not need to intervene in rrps! It's a business that is trying to make money if people are daft enough to believe rrps thats their problem. The country needs businesses and over regulation will not encourage them to invest here. The consumer needs to consider whether the sale price is one they are willing to pay for the product. Do they need it, will they use it, what would they be happy to pay?

Every business is trying to make money, just a bit of moral integrity wouldn't go amiss. Some rrp's are accurate and who's got time to cross reference every thing they buy?

Argos RRPs should be banned from deal titles (_;)

I have 2 of these beds in white in my garage. I bought them 3 years ago. At the time, they were supposedly £249 reduced to £125. They are VERY VERY heavy MDF style beds. They look pretty. the reason they are in our garage, is because they are very difficult to use successfully. When constructing, my husband made them the same way round, so that the drawer came out of the same side. The otherside is a plain panel inaccessible flat side, so no good for under bed storage. This bed needs to be in the centre of a room and not the side, unless you do not actually want to easily access the underbed drawer. For example, if the side that has the wooden panel is against a wall, then the otherside has the drawer and with a bedside table, you have to move the entire bedside table. We had attempted to fit 2 of these in a large room, (they were such a bargain...lol) The beds size fitted fine, but due to my husbands error (and after the difficulty and time taken to make the bed he would rather have smashed it up than take it apart to do it the otherway round) the girls needed bedside tables and as the beds had to be next to walls, they were just simply annoying.
I had intended to sell them, but they are poor quality and when I took them apart the plastic paint coating on the MDF split , in a number of places and the poor fittings broke. So after only 6 months use, they went to the garage. I use the drawers under some bunks, but for £250 they were 2 very expensive drawers lol.
