I have these socks. Really nice support in all the right places. They have quite a tight fit around your feet.

There loads of other good clearance deals on the site, including running trainers by the way.

£4 for a pair of socks seems a bit steep to me. Plus you have to spend £9 to get them then have to waste the fiver on over priced items in the store. Try lidl sports socks about £1.50 a pair and seem fine to me

Isn't that their primary function?

Maybe. Never tried the Lidl ones. These ones seem like they won't wear out that much over time too. £4 might be a bit much, but they are my favourite socks now though

X) you know where socks generally tend to wear out, like around the heel, and sometimes near the toes. The material is thicker there. They are also a bit tight in comparison to other socks. I reckon the primary function of socks are to wick sweat away from your feet and to keep your feet warm. X)

Not tried these but have had other asics sock which got holes within 6 months. My Lidl ones get used about once a week for almost two years with no holes.
