Asics Gel DS Trainer 22 Running Shoes
The Asics Gel DS Trainer 22 Running Shoes is the perfect shoe for those who seek speed and fast finishes. Maximise your performance with a guided push-off and energy in the forefoot to help you reach your goals in record time.

Open Mesh Upper

Ensure your feet remain breathable and well ventilated with the open mesh upper. The added ventilation will help the inevitable sweat and moisture from distracting your run and affecting performance. A seamless upper construction allows the wearer to run without socks, which can increase the comfort as well as reducing any chances of irritation and help bolster lap times. With the addition of a ComforDry Sockliner, odours are reduced thanks to the anti-bacterial material to leave your feet feeling fresher, for longer. The upper is complete with a heel clutching system that uses an exoskeletal structure to wrap the heel for a secure and more comfortable fit.

Flytefoam Midsole

The Flytefoam midsole utilises organic fibres that are embedded into the foam to offer lightweight resiliency and help support your feet to get the best possible results. Rearfoot gel cushioning system uses a silicone-based gel for responsive shock absorption on impact and helps to reduce the amount of wear and tear your body and joints will go through, preventing injury and making for an all round better performance. Dynamic Duo-Max Support System uses a dual-density material in the midfoot to reduce over-pronation and allow better gait to negate the chances of injury and discomfort. The propulsion trusstic system utilises a thermal plastic unit that connects the lateral heel to the medial forefoot. This unit works to release stored energy and propel you forward during toe-off. Impact Guidance System (IGS) design creates a smooth and balanced heel-to-toe transition. Guidance Line is a vertical flex groove in the forefoot for improved gait efficiency.

DuoSole Outsole

DuoSole Outsole provides lightweight, flexible, and durable traction to help with your grip on surfaces and keeping you balanced to aid performance. ASICS High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR) in the heel is made of carbon rubber for exceptional durability and give a reliable, long-lasting shoe to complete your running look. Not only is the shoe durable and reliable, it has a sleek and stylish feel to it. DuraSponge in the forefoot is made from a blown AHAR compound, for responsive cushioning and flexibility to give a more comfortable yet practical shoe.

Not the same shoe, not by a long shot.
Only boy sizes left
I hope people are trying these shoes on first and thinking about what they are doing with them and not just buying them because the percentage discount. Best to check if you need neutral or stability shoes, check size fit (usually runners will buy one or half size up) as varies between models and then finer details if you can be bothered (eg road, speed, long distance trainer, etc) . I run in asics dynaflyte 2s at mo but think ultraboosts are also excellent if expensive (bit heavier, certainly more expensive but they really do seem to give you a bit of bounce on each step). But this is based on my foot shape and aim to do 10-15 miles per run mainly on concrete and don't want to buy multiple trainers. Buying a Yr or two old models are cost effective if you want a good deal (most changes are minor or cosmetic and all runners are pretty fugly)

Buying a 2 year old model is cost effective?!? Are u having a laugh?!

It’s a trainer foot ware! Doesn’t matter if it’s 2 years old.
Everyone’s feet are different anyway. So a trainer which feels great to you might be useless for the next person.

Ur talking utter tosh
I think you're misunderstanding. I'm saying it doesn't matter if it's the latest version unless you care about the colour. The technology is usually pretty much the same
