Great deal I use to have a pair of nimbus versions - very very comfortable
Just out of interest I like Asics Gel lyte iii does anyone know how they size I'm a 9 in nike but don't know if I should stick with a 9 or go up or down a half or full size, does anyone know?

Thanks
Are these actually running shoes or 'fashion' trainers? I had Kayanos for marathon running some years ago, and looking at the Asics site they are now up to Kayano 26. These appear to marketed more as fashion shoes?

Seems weird the numbering, Kayano are the support shoes from ASICS but they reached revision 25 now.
Not sure if it's possible that this is a model of 21 years ago...
I prefer to buy running shoes from specialist shops rather than generic ones like Zalando

I run in Kayano 25’s now. These definitely look like fashion shoes, not runners.
Heat op, can’t decide if i like the look or not

A size 9 in Nike is 28CM, a 9.5 is 28.5
A size 9 in Asics is 28CM but a 9.5 in Asics is 28.25

A lot of people suggest going up half a size.
Asics tend to keep successful shoes season to season. I currently run in Sonoma 4, and Nimbus 21 shoes. The Kayano is a long distance shoe so not the lightest but very good support. I would say go 1/2 size up as they can be small, for me anyway. Asics are great shoes regardless of where you buy them from, I would recommended that you at least get your stride analysed. Some great shoes are no good for me as they are designed for under pronation, I supinate so need a neutral shoe. I tend to steer clear of anything that says “support” as they are usually designed for under pronation.

Asics buy up all the reviews. They purposefully make less shoes than the marketing and awards that they've thrown money at can cope with, thus ensuring every small or independent retailer cannot keep Asics stock for long. Try Mizuno: not as comfy, but you're all looking at shoes the wrong way If you're wanting them to be like slippers - a good running shoe isn't to be worn like that. Asics under-produce every season purposefully to keep the myth about their shoes going. If everyone is talking about it and no one can get it, then you've created a marketing myth which never ends and saves Asics putting any effort in.

And if the numbers are right" this stock is so old that I wouldn't know when they were made. I doubt you could compare them to a modern Kayano
