this used to be 9.95..

It doesn't say anything about the £5 off the next order. Is that offer still valid?

Yea I only paid £9.95 a couple months ago. Sounds like they're sneaking a price rise in the same way Amazon did with prime.

Was £14.95? When?

I've paid £9.95 for 3 years now.

Is this actually worth paying for? Ive seen countless complaints on their facebook page about how ASOS fails to deliver next day for some premier customers. Ideas?

Yes, for me it is. I order loads from ASOS, so it's def worth paying for Premier.... but it depends on how much you order I guess.

Most of my orders are delivered on time, so I can't comment on problems with deliveries.

Can anyone confirm this? Got nothing through email but if this is true would be a steal IMHO.

Free returns is a life saver. I often buy a Large & medium of the same item and return the one which doesn't fit. That's the problem, not all of ASOS mediums, fit the same. Premier is really good for that. Never had a problem. I just return it with the same bag they send it in, along with the return label.

Yes it's definitely worth it if you order a lot, it easily pays for itself over the course of the year. They also include free collect+ returns which is pretty useful too and if you order before 9pm you get it the next morning (for me at least). Oh and you sometimes get exclusive discount codes to use.

Can anyone confirm or post a copy of the email? With any links? Cheers.

from the email this morning:

WANT £5 OFF YOUR NEXT ORDER AND A YEAR'S FREE NEXT-DAY DELIVERY?
Erm, yes please! Get unlimited next-day delivery for a year and loads more perks, plus this little discount-shaped treat. Sign up for ASOS Premier for only £9.95 by 11.59pm 28 July and we’ll send you a £5 ASOS code.* Amazing.

I think this may be email specific, still got time until the 28th, so might as well wait some more.

wonder if its a general £5 code or if its like spend 40 get 5 off. if its that its not that great a deal

Just spend the £40 and refund the items you don't want?

I can confirm that I also received this email.

Defo worth it as you could only use next day delivery twice for that price! Plus they send u VIP msgs before the sale starts n they send u out the magazines as well

Also I was a member last year, and it had just expired. However I have just re-newed as never had any problems, items always arrived next day (even on a Saturday). Must admit the collection service for returning isn't the most reliable so I always drop off myself to a Collect+ store and works perfectly fine. But delivery is always on-time and added bonus of £5 off next order. No brainer.

Any news on this £5 Discount code?

Doesn't seem to mention it anywhere apart from in e-mail certain users have received?

I received the email and have just purchaced. no sign of the £5 as of yet.

Don't ASOS offer free returns with Royal Mail anyway? Wonderful people.

Yes, returns have always been free anyway via Collectplus and royal mail. see asos.custhelp.com/ci/…pdf.

You don't need a premier a/c for free returns.

Also, remember discount promo codes are for use once only per account. Therefore ASOS premier will be no good if you have multiple accounts to reuse promo codes.

Good point. From small print of e-mail:

"*Offer applies to any order placed from 8am Tuesday 22 July 2014 to 11.59pm BST on 28 July 2014. ASOS Premier T&C's are shown at point of purchase. Your unique £5 code will emailed to you by 4 August 2014. "

So you get £5 off an order between now and next Monday, but you don't get the code for another week??

I think 'order' here refers to the membership, not £5 off.

I've been an asos premier customer for nearly a year and I've always got my deliveries on time. If you have any problems contact them via twitter they couldn't hav been more helpful the times I have contacted them x

If like me you don't always spend £15 to qualify for free delivery then it is great and pays for itself within the year. Having next day delivery can really be a life saver and I am yet to experience any problems with my items not arriving on time

To echo the comments above: totally worth it. I've been a Premier customer for 3 years and the service is flawless. Part of that is down to ASOS using DPD (in my area anyway), who email you with your one hour time slot at the start of the day and make it very easy to rearrange delivery. You also get sale previews, a monthly ASOS magazine (which is ok), and the occasional exclusive discount code. I also like the fact you can choose your delivery date up to a week in advance.

Been an ASOS customer for 6 years. Premier is definitely worth it, bargain if you can get the £5 voucher as we'll.

Is it a minimum spend for the delivery?

That's good to know. Thanks.

Yes, amazing service from ASOS for £9.95 per year - unlimited next day delivery, free collections when returning items (handy as I usually buy a few sizes of each item and return a box full in one go!), great service via facebook if there are ever any mix-ups - delivery on Sundays now, too.

Free collections with Premier, which is great when you can't be bothered going to the Post Office or local Collect+ shop

Was I the only one that found it suspicious that one week they announce a profit warning then the next a mysterious fire occurs in their warehouse?

I've always liked asos some great bargains and even their normal free delivery is pretty quick.

How long does it take for the voucher to come through? Ordered earlier today and nothing except a confirmation email so far

Original Poster

The profits warning was a downgrade from £65m to £45m, substantial how ever in fashion on bad season can do a lot worse. They value at the lowest point was over £2b so the fire seems unlikely as a insurance job, it's not the carlot in eastenders.
