This is seriously outdated FYI.

Why would anyone make their own CMS nowadays? Simply take one of the open source offerings and customise it to your needs. The level of work required to keep a home built CMS up to date with security patches it huge.

Most of the hackers who look for ways to attack websites concentrate on the popular CMS like Wordpress, and popular Wordpress plugins. Because when they find a way in there are millions of sites they can attack.
By making your own CMS you're making it less likely to be hacked, and if you do it properly you won't need to constantly be updating it, unlike the popular systems that have to be updated regularly.
