Fantastic price
Pros: Great value. Reportedly the new drivers fix many issues. There are some great gaming TVs which are FreeSync.
Cons: AMD cards tend to be noisy under load.

Great price. Voted hot.
Thanks OP. Just what I was watching out for
Incredible deal. Ive seen for £248 but this is great
Excellent deal, all gone now!
Be awesome if this wasn't a blower

Paid £300 not 6 months ago for vega 56...
Are new Nvidia and AMD cards to be released soon?
This or the Rx5700 tx for £300? Which is better value. Currently got 980ti

IMO wait longer. The 980ti is slower than a 5700 but not that much. The 5700xt is certainly an upgrade, but again, not far enough IMO. Next gen cards later this year (launch date unknown).

This looks better.

**** Scratch that thought it said RTX280-super *** now that would have been a really bargain.

Correction: AMD reference cards tend to be a little noisy under load on standard settings.

Undervolt it and it will be perfectly fine.

I'd suggest waiting for new nvidia cards, the 980ti is still a strong performer
Can these be converted to a 5700xt via bios? I'm sure I read that somewhere a while back.

Yes you can, however you won't magically get the extra cores that are available on the 5700 XT. You will however be able to overclock your 5700 to higher levels than permitted by AMD (from 1850 Mhz all the way up to 2150 Mhz).
Here's the guide if you're thinking of going through with it: click

Btw. you're looking at about 10% performance gain and 28% increased power consumption (source), so I'd say that it's not really worth it, and there's the warranty thing too...
