The default fan curve is not that good. You need your own fan curve.
Yikes... Great price! Though guess 5600 xt bios overclock is hurting 5700 too.

I currently have vega 56 (64 bios) got for 190 on gumtree

disagree this 5600xt isnt hurting the box it comes in nevermind a 5700........

The 5700 on offers at xmas.... were at the 5600xt launch price..... gpu since had some drops though out , so this via an offer is price accordingly..... that 5600xt is pointless when this is here at that price point... they should of kept the 5600xt at the 220..... to compete with the 1660 and left it at stock levels pre bios update

Good price, good performance, can't pull the trigger on this though because those lockups and black screens of death still aren't fixed and they are just reinforcing the belief that AMD can't do GPU drivers as good as Nvidia.

How did you get the edge temps? Also those junction temps at that rpm seems a bit high for this supposedly superior cooler, do you have any case fans

Unfortunately it's true, I had 2 5700xt's. I replaced one and had exactly the same issues with both cards. Crashes and black screens all the time. Finally caved in a few weeks ago and got a refund on the 5700xt and coughed up the extra for a Strix 2070 super. Not a single crash or stutter so far. I hate to say it but looks like I'm going to have to stick with Nvidia even though I don't agree with their ridiculous pricing model.

I was updated with the latest drivers at the time when people where saying they where no longer having crashes. Definitely not the case for me, I was getting crashes at least once a day. Glad you aren't getting them though.

Are you talking about the driver release a few days ago? It apparently fixed most of these issues

No, not had my card for a few weeks now. But I'm very happy with the 2070 super now so no regrets. I went for the Strix version and with the manual OC I've applied it's a fair bit faster than my 5700xt's which had very little OC headroom.
is it worth getting this one other the stock one with 1 fan?

Only difference is fan noise and I think this one runs cooler.
I wonder if corona virus will start hitting supply soon like I'm surprised the price is still going down considering probably gonna be a shortage in the coming months.
I was looking at this the other day but the 20% code wouldn't work on it. Now considering it... again.
