Why cold? Its the lowest its ever been

Because its old tech and rather useless, can get a Z270 for the same price and a kabylake cpu to go with it for the same price as a skylake cpu

Or you could buy this and get a i7 6700k which doesn't overheat and only 2% slower than the 7700 chip but overclocks better. I've gave this heat...O and you can put the kabylake in this as well although this will need a bios update

Has it ever occurred to you that somebody might already have a skylake cpu and might just want to upgrade their motherboard. The logic on this site is just plain ridiculous

You know what is really ridiculous? The fact that someone with a skylake cpu upgrading their motherboard has literally a 0.0001% chance of happening, get real.

I suppose you've surveyed everyone who owns a skylake PC what if someone has bought an itx motherboard and would like to move to atx. Stop thinking in such narrow minded way it's pretty childish

While unlikely, to be fair I did that with my sandybridge. Had a 2500k (was only £2 more expensive than non k at the time) and a dirt cheap H61 chipset board - upgraded to a similar board on Z77 for overclocking later down the line. Though like I said, few and far between scenario.

I think this early on thats the only real reason too.

They do have a point, sometimes stuff happens, and your motherboard for example can die early, so this would be good as a replacement.

Yes, as I said, 0.0001% chance.

Get you too, but hate it when people randomly use statistics like that, like idiots who say I'm 99.9999% sure as if they really are, just say its rare or unlikely, lol
