Assassin's Creed 2 AND Brotherhood both free on PS3 PS+ @ Playstation PSN

Heads up to people, this MAY be an error on Sony's part

Both Assassin's Creed 2 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood are both free to download for playstation plus subscribers at the moment.

They aren't listed with the playstation plus games but theres a section on the PS Store called Assassin's Creed and lists all the games and these two are down as free whilst the others are discounted so it could be an error. Worth a download if you haven't played either or both these titles.

Just checked and they're absolutely free on my end too! Most likely an error but can't complain! Many thanks

The free version is the Full Game Trial I think. Just looked and says the Full Game Trial is free for PSN+ users.

Just checked, you are correct Already have them on disc anyway, it's just nice to have them as downloads! Oh well.

Seems strange that everything else in the full game trial has the price of them as well though whereas those two both say free.

I'll believe this when the first person plays longer than an hour

Added both to cart, and completed checkout as £0.00

Then went back into Brotherhood, and noticed there's a 'choose a version' drop down menu underneath the logo when you go into game overview, full price is listed next to 'Full Game' and the little shopping bag which usually means you own it, is next to Full Game Trial.

strange here...........was showing 11.99 then wouldn't allow me to add to cart, so went out then back in and suddenly it had replaced the 11.99 with the yellow ps+ free exclusive badge.

Once you have purchased them, go back in to them and it will ask what cersion, on selecting this it will say full versions and then prices (£9.99 and £11.99)

i got playstation plus today and found these games literally 5 minutes ago and a quick google braught me here. They seem to just be trials, its weird that they say free underneath them though so i'm very confused by the whole thing. Update us if they work but im guessing its all a big mess about and its just trials which blows.
