"Very cheap" Nah, not really, it's about a quid cheaper than it usually is, but for those yet to play it's worth the gamble. Much better than the first, which I couldn't stand.

TBH not much to set this apart from the regular version, the dlc isn't much to shout about.

I didn't even realise I was playing the DLC when I played it during the main game lol. Decent enough price though, I did enjoy the game.

Question for you guys that own this GOTY version. As the 2 missing DLC sequences are on the disc does it play them out in order now? Before the regular edition of the game skipped from sequence 11 to 14 IIRC.

Cheapest DLC stunt yet pulled by a dev/publisher by the way!!!

I completed the pc version (with dlc) and original xbox (without dlc) and i believe u go to the same area in both but only with the dlc does it allow you to do the whole part of the game of helping that queen in a castle automatically and the other quest.

Can the first game be bought for a similar price?

I wouldn't bother if I were you. Stick with this and AC Brotherhood. Way better.

Yes it plays them in order, and yes it was a very cheap stunt by Ubisoft, thankfully they didn't do the same thing with Brotherhood.

I need it for the story line, reading it off wikipedia wont be the same and also hard to understand.

No, you don't. I played about 20% of the first one and gave up. Bought the second at £9.99 before Christmas and loved it. I just went through the wiki page to catch up on the story and not only understood but engaged with the story. Loved the ending of this one, though I'm in a minority.

Traded my original copy in a while back and regretted it. Will buy it again for this price.

If you have never played any assassins creed, play the first one for the story but it is very repetitive and mundane compared to the later ones in missions and game play.

Agreed. Great story and worth a play through if you can handle the repetitiveness of the missions.

Completely agree with you on DLC - very, very repetitive memory segments!
