Just to let people know that the DLC is not compatible with PS4 AFAIK.

On ebay for Buy it now of £25 and upwards so decent price on this. DLC seems irrelevant as its cosmetic so very little value.

I think his face is wierd but other than that some nice detailing.

Thanks, he will look really cool alongside my buccaneer edition Kenway, it's a shame the dlc is not compatible for PS4 but for that price the figure alone is worth it.

You really need the other part too if you buy this (the black beard type figurine). Also note it's abit smaller than the buccaneer figurine, so cannot really be displayed next to each other. I have them on rear surround speakers, and they look fine.

Also I paid a little less @ game before Xmas and it's about what it's worth. It does look nice (except the face/hands) but it's cheap and doesn't compare to some other figurines quality wise (batman city/origins for instance).

Agreed, it all looks really nice apart from the hands and face.

ubisoft wont have used spot lights to photograph so wont have the glare to show up any plastics
does seem higher detail though so looks a bit suspicious

I have one and the face is kind of translucent and throws the whole thing off.

What's the actual quality of the statue like? How does it feel?

Very cheap malleable plastic. The clothes look good though, but it's certainly is not premium.

The images from Ubisoft are likely from the original sculpt by McFarlane, so they will be of highest in painting, the original sculpt is then used as a reference to create the mass produced figure which then has a much cheaper finish as some of the parts will be coloured plastics with only extra details painted.

If you want figures like the original image you will need to pay a lot more money!!

You can get some quite nice cheap figurines also, these are good for the price. If you are a model painter you will know you can touch these up with your own paints and then seal them.

a picture should represent the product for sale
clearly different materials and finish
