Maybe they don’t like using foreign stores
People don't generally want to screw around with VPNs, foreign sites, fake addresses and all that other noise just to get a few quid off some games. Especially because what you're doing isn't legit by the terms and conditions of these online stores so doing this kind of thing could possibly get your account banned; and who wants to risk losing access to their entire library for the sake of this? If you're willing to do it then fair play to you; I'm just explaining why a lot of people aren't interested.
Steam definitely, but I never had any issues with Origin purchases via VPN back in the day. Support even helped me with a refund on one of them.
Not sure if that's changed in the last year or so mind you.
I'm getting a VPN at some point, when you say you get banned, you mean if you change your location to buy or if you have a VPN active and buy from the UK store you still get banned?
Circumventing regional prices, basically. So for example using the VPN to purchase games from Russia or Brasil, where the games are usually considerably cheaper.
If your VPN is set to UK and you're buying from the UK store, I shouldn't see there being a problem. I'd only ever do it with a private VPN mind you.
