Good price. Voted hot. I’ve convinced myself that if I hold out, I can get the game and all DLC for £25

The tailing missions were a chore but the gameplay was satisfying at making you feel like a powerful assassin's if not a bit too easy. Origins was a good game that was light on the assassin part. Odessey is a mess, a cringeworthy story that couldn't care less about the creed but still shoehorns in an element so that it can be sold in the AC name. Unlikeable characters, terrible dialogue, swathes of uninteresting, meaningless side quests and boring gameplay that requires you to hack away at life bars and change and upgrade equipment every 5 minutes. The series needed to take a break and innovate, absolutely, syndicate IMO was dreadful but at least it tried to be an AC game. Odessey is to Assassin's Creed what RESI 6 was to Resident Evil

I completely disagree with everything above. Odyssey is an absolute joy to play, imo.

Decent price, tedious game, in fact tedious series since Origins. Making it more RPG didn't help either.

There's better RPG's out there.

As said above, very tedious game to play with not a lot of substance to it
Do understand the negativity but sometimes there is a quite fine line between tedious and satisfyingly easy. I'm just waiting for it to be below ~15.
A boring game in its own right. A disgrace to the assassin's creed name.

I think origins was a pretty good side step to mix up the formula a bit. Odessey is the first one I couldn't force myself to finish and I've tried several times. Give us AC4 about Assassin's being Assassin's.

Yes, especially when you compare it to the white knuckle thrill of the follow missions of past games and other such repetitive delights.

Heat. For me this is the best assassins creed game in a very long time. See the reviews.
Much improved once they had the extra year off and a lot of companies could learn from (yearly updates like fifa and wwe 2k can take note)
Wasn't a chore and I enjoyed the game from the start until the end. Prefered this story over origins personally and a big improvement over previous creed games. Looking forward to the viking game next year and hopefully it's a launch with the PS5.

Nail on the head. Also, the increasing size of each map ads to the tedious nature. Fast travel negates the idea of inputting such vast lands of nothingness in the newer titles.

On a different note, RE5 was the bad egg IMO. Took everything great introduced in RE4 and astonishingly managed to make it several times worse.
£1 off? Lookout!
I enjoyed Origins, it was a good game with some likable characters - but it's too generic for the length (pyramids etc helped keep interest). I hear this ones even longer, so I've avoided it. Long RPGs need a lot of character or else there's no point

Don't agree withe the negative comments on here. This is the best AC game released, I am am on the last bit of dlc before being done 100% with the game. It is very fun when you get in to it.

that £19.99 is the NEXT BEST PRICE from a different retailer
Bought the gold edition a couple of weeks ago for £24.99 I think
Loved the game. If you're a fan of the shadow of Mordor/war games you'll love this.

I find all the assassins creed games before this boring and slow. If I'm playing a game, I want to play it, not slowly trudge through it. The previous games were clunky and stale. There's obviously a market for that though!

I myself prefer a well polished game, so this, shadow of war and devil may cry 5 have been my highlights of the past few years. I put over 80 hours and didn't regret a minute. It's all so smooth and I'm glad they went this way with the series.
Tempted by this but reading the comment about it being like Shadow of War i am split. I really really loved Shadow of Mordor so much that i got mates into it. Shadow of War though... i just could not get into it and same mate mentioned he thought graphics were worse. I liked Origins so think this AC will be worth a try
30 hours into this and loving it, totally absorbed by the main character and story.
If this was digital I’d be all over it.

The Gold Edition was £25.99 last month, I contemplated too long then it jumped in price
Whys it so hot when it’s only 5% off?
I loved the Origins, but I think I'll wait until Gold edition is at this price. Heat!
