So burnt out from Origins....is this a must play after or should i attempt some other open worlds in my backlog like Fallout 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, No Man's Sky, Watch Dogs 2, MGS V: Phantom Pain, Far Cry 5, Witcher 3 ....

went straight from origins to this and over 100 hours on it. A stunning game, especially at this price

We’re all different but if those are physical I’d say you have a couple of frisbees in there ready to fling away.

If origins burnt you out, there’s no reason to rush in here now it’s approaching 12 months old and should start to come down even more over the coming weeks.

Far Cry is the shortest of the bunch to complete and so is more digestible when eating through the dreaded backlog.

MGS V was my favourite out of those.
I've played Odyssey first and now playing Origin. Odyssey was much better for me.

"A couple" of frisbees?
Oh right, Red Dead is 2 discs isn't it

Do Far Cry 5 first, or No Man's Sky...as they're sufficiently different than Origins, and they're also the shortest (I measure by time taken to plat).

But you've got some really long games there...

However, Odyssey is a MUST play. It is stunning. Absolutely love it. Just take a break from AC first.

Sounds like you need a palate cleanser - mix in something like Forza Horizon 4. Even if you’re not that into cars there’s still fun to be had

That's a good idea actually, go by play time. And seems a departure from the 3rd person RPG games.

I have it loaded up but didn't get past the intro as it wasn't what i expected. Seemed more fantasy.....giant flaming whale eats a helicopter, hovering man, flaming fire dude lol... Is it worth pushing through?

FC5 seems to have a couple votes, and NMS seems like something you can jump in and out of without having to play through?... would that be a correct assumption?

I have Forza 7 but as soon as I discovered that all the races are homologated I never picked it up again. Is FH4 the same?

Thanks for all the great feedback everyone

Nah mate totally different, open world arcade style street racing rather than track racing. Highly recommended.
