In App Purchases.

Ah right... That explains it.. Change of model then rather than a decent deal.

I think they charged £3 for it and did in app purchases so still a pretty good deal if you wanted it

Although it looks like it's always had them even when it was £3. My tightness knows no bounds.. It's still only cost me 10p

That's timing for you! Looks pretty decent, was on my wishlist for a while. was surprised the play store doesn't notify you of any changes to items you're watching.

Didn't this go free on iOS recently? Is the 10p just a token sum, a way to spin this whole thing about them not being allowed to say things are 'free' anymore?

brought it at £1.49 and uninstalled it was good apart from the constant notifications that cant be turned off would get 5 of em every 10minuets even when I switched them off via the app on the phone settings they would come back after my phone froze and restarts its self never fixed it never could be bothered to re download it plus its 1GB something

If you go into settings / apps, the unintelligible screen has a disable notifications section which prevents all notifications.

Not bad. Upgrade your ship and get stronger and stronger. Got a good 20 hours game play out of it as I like to complete everything. It isn't finished yet, with new chapters released with updates every few months - which feels overdue.

Seems pretty decent so far. Graphically it's quite impressive for a mobile game.

Excellent offer

Bought it as it's only 10p. Thanks and heat added.

Bought and bought... I've played it previously and it's worth it for the sea shanties alone. Heat.

This app is incompatible with all of your devices.

both my devices are running 4.4 how can they be incompatible?

I did search. It didn't come up.

This was free 'app of the week' on iOS a couple of weeks back...

This is the closest you can get to going from paid to free on Google Play unless you offer a promotion code (eg freeappoftheday) and that tends to be enabling premium content. If you make your app free in Google Play it is PERMANENT.
This is probably an indication that the iOS promotion of free is temporary. Apple allows you to go Free and then go back to paid.

It was Free on iOS last week, back at £2.99 now though ¬_¬

Go to Android setting, Applications tab, find your app, uncheck notifications checkbox. Did this to my whatsapp/fb/twitter recently, gave me some much needed peace.

I have 40p play credit that will likely never be used.

But as long as games include IAPs, I wont be buying them, or downloading them, for free or for pennies.

Are the In-App-Purchases necessary to play this game?
In some games they are just a shortcut for the lazy but in others the game is intentionally impossible without.

Cheers, just downloaded, glad I have unlimited mobile data, skipped past the large file warning!

Doh, paid the full price just a couple of months ago. typical! Pretty good game for a mobile device. graphics impressive. did remind game-play wise of that pirates game that was really popular on facebook many years ago!

They won't be necessary. I'd be extremely surprised if there was any paid-for app that required you to buy in-app purchases to do most of the game... The only games that do that are the 'freemium' ones which are intentionally like that.

I don't see why people feel the need to point out the in-app purchases, or even go as far as to not buying it because of them, because there's absolutely no need to even look at them.

Totally agree with this, No offence to Jay, But unless you're the type of idiot that presses that red button after been told not to, IAP's have absolutely no affect towards a gaming style, Many Need For Speed games (on consoles) offer similar IAP and I have never even felt the urge to purchase one, I have a FUT, same applies, I have only ever bought players with credits accumulated in game.

When IGN gives you a 5.5, you know you did something wrong

Bought, and at 10p, voted hot as well
