anyone bought pre-owned games from Argos before? Kinda put off by the fact that the disc could be scratched all over the place

bought a few games and where in perfect condition.

I've only ever bought used games and i've never EVER had one that didn't work. Before people jump on me and say how 'tight' I may or may not be: let me say this. Why pay top whack for a game that might be a load of old rubbish when you can wait a while and get it a heck of a lot cheaper. I'd rather be disappointed and only down a couple of quid than really [email protected]@ed off at being £25-30 out of pocket.

It's not just old games either. Iv'e bagged a sealed (sold as used) copy of GOW2 for £4, Fallout 3 GOTY Edition for £4.99 and that was like brand new. Not to mention CODMW2 for £5, Mass Effect 2 for £4 etc. I would never consider paying release prices for these games as I'm not that desperate to own them like some. I do understand that others like to be the first to own/play new titles and that's absolutely fine but; as I said; you don't know if you are buying a dead dog these days so I'd rather wait a while and pick up a seconder and feel better if it's a bummer. Anyway; like everything else you buy; it will have a certain guarantee so if it did happen to be faulty then you just return it, don't you?

NOT expired . Just bought, nice price with FOC delivery

You seem to be forgetting what site you're posting on, it's for tight people and people who like a bargain. X)
