How low can you go...
Sweet!
Just in time for the Jack the Ripper DLC. Hot.
Just did a quick online chat with Amazon and got the difference from the higher price refunded ;-)
this game is already 4 months old from august?

Lesson learned - NEVER buy day one - becoming an utter waste of time

Especially with anualised franchises like this and Fifa (plus others)!
I only ever pre-order special editions that I know won't decrease in value (one off games) or if I find them for £35. Generally tend to wait and it pays off
I just bought this 5 days ago and it was £24.99, onto Amazon just now to try and obtain refund of the difference....
Heat added BTW

Update, just been refunded the £2 :-)

Don't fall for the hype I still have so many of the big games to pick but not bitting till sub £20 I'd say I've saved over £300 this year waiting till games are below the £20 mark.
decision is now, Steelbook or Special Edition DLC from Game

DLC will add 30 minutes max to play time and add nothing to the story. The steelbook will retain a high sell on value for a while so if you intend to get money back after completing it that's your best option. I'd go for the steelbook mate.

"The steelbook will retain a high sell on value"

No it won't lol it'll end up like every other assassins creed steelwork - gathering dust and worthless

and that's coming from somone who used to collect them and has around 7/8 ac steelbook (none after ac3)
Is it any good though?

it's such a good price but I'm scared as all the others I played on pc and to lose the 60fps would really bug me.

I generally tend to agree...

I am just surprised this time as never seen the price on an Assassin's Creed title drop so fast before (for any of the non-standard editions I mean)

In the past maybe small decreases but it is a different story this year

this will plummet more

expect it at £15 on cd keys at some point, maybe even less
The steelbook is really nice. good quality.
I have noticed game prices drop before Christmas over the last few years. When it comes to games, it seems fortune favours the brave (enough to wait). I'm still waiting for fallout 4 to drop below £20.
Also, how frustrating is it when you have a game for your kids for Christmas. They haven't even seen it yet but it's now half the price you paid. Did that with LBP2 never again.

Unity dropped just as fast, special editions too.

Tempted, but I bought Unity around xmas last year and barely played it, terribly dull game. Think I'm just bored of the AC template now.
I bought a couple of these the other day , just arrived yesterday, so just called and got a refund of 2 x £2.00 as i bought 1 of each

call them or email them.
Going to get on chat and see if they will refund me the £2 extra I paid
LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS!!

Defo ! well worth the asking price !!
The only game I've seen retain good value, even a while after release, is GTA V I've just sold mine for £25, a year after purchase. AC was dirt cheap after 5-6 months. I think I paid £15, and sold it for £13 a few weeks later.
Steel books may retain a bit more value, but I think the follow the same trajectory overall, imo.

It was said tongue in cheek, I was adding heat anyway

I felt like that with Dying Light - was worried about the 30fps vs +50fps on my PC.

In the end I really didnt notice anything.

However the draw distance I find to be the biggest problem between my PC and XB1 - I don't want to turn around in any game and see scenery / sprites popping in & out
Again another great price
Marching on together, have some heat my friend, finally bit.
Ordered on the 13 December and after chatting with them they refunded the £2 no questions asked, thanks OP and everyone who pointed out the refund was available
How do I access the chat for the refund please?
