PlayStation 4

Carve your path to glory in the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla PS4 game. Driven from ninth century Norway by fierce wars and scarce resources, Eivor, a Viking raider, leads his clan to pillage the rich lands of England’s broken kingdoms. Raid your enemies, grow your settlement and build political power to earn your place in Valhalla.

Viking Combat
In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players dual-wield axes, swords and shields in the ruthless fighting style of Viking warriors. Decapitate your foes, defeat enemies with long-range tactics or assassinate targets with a hidden blade.

Immersive Experience
Build a barracks, blacksmith, tattoo parlour and more as you customise your settlement in the expansive open world of England’s Dark Ages. Recruit new members to your clan and personalise your Assassin’s Creed Viking experience, immersing yourself in fishing, hunting and drinking games.

This is my favourite game at the moment & I have had many, many hours of entertainment out of it so far.

Personally I purchased the Deluxe Edition for £12.11 in a sale recently (directly from Ubisoft, on PC), but even at £15.99 it's great value, if you can find stock.

    Highly recommended!

I tried it and was impressed with viduals and feel of movement but didn't like how spongey enemies were to axe blows. A guy in work who loves it says put it on easy, I never consider that. Might give it another shot. (edited)

Don't expect an amazing story 90% is boring it's just the same thing of going to areas and forging alliances with characters you don't see again. It gets good when king Alfred comes in it towards the end. The only time you see him which is shame because the voice actor does a good performance and he's the most interesting character (edited)

The season pass not including dawn of Ragnarok was pretty snide but a very solid entry.

Plenty of game for under a score.
