truepcgaming.com/201…ew/ Here's my in-depth review, I'm not trying to self-promote just a review for people who want it.

A well polished alpha build. Physics in this are good.

Can you sum that review up in 20 words John?

Buy it? :P

Agree. Best racing game I have played and it's not finished. Bi weekly updates are great and the number of adding you can get and mods. Definately worth triple this money if you are into racing. It's no need for Speed arcade racer

Check out sim vibe, and dash meter pro, and facetracknoir once you have bought this.

I bought this at £20 a while back but feel the need to stress that its deffo worth even the full £29.99.

At 14.99 it's a total steal. I just bought two extra copies as gifts.

Heat from me

Paid full price for it about a month ago - don't regret it. Best racing physics I've had in a sim.

will be buying this later. need to get some good use out of my g27

I got this when was full price- well worth it! Good video review here: youtube.com/wat…ZzU

Probably the best racing sim on pc atm

Easily. Even comparisons to the upcoming project cars have shown this remains the better sim. Project cars will have more cars but not sim style play or modding

Been waiting for this. thanks!

If i bought as gift, then decided i wanted the game, can i use the gift i bought on steam ?

Yep as long as you don't send it on and leave it in your inventory.

Never pay £15 for a PC game..... But I did this time ;-).

Its kept in your inventory as a gift-able item but when you select it there is the option to add it to your own library as wel las the option to send it to another user. If you do end up wanting it for yourself just click the add to library button

Just bought this at last, been waiting for it to come down. Also got a Thrustmaster 458 Italia back 2 weeks ago and been itching to get a real game for it.

Is this game still fun/worth it with an Xbox controller? Can't afford a wheel.

Yeah, imo the xbox 360 pad works a treat. Sometimes I turn off the wheel to use the pad so I can lay back and chill out.

Not a finished game yet, but content is being added on a regular basis.

I am happy with my purchase.

I use an xbox controller

It's my goto driving game and I've got a few to choose from!

Agree with all the positive reviews. Fab sim

When you use an Xbox controller do the menus change so it says click the A button to continue instead of E on the keyboard etc..?

fantastic game at full price, its a no brainer at £15!
iRacing is still better for multiplayer racing but if you're not interested in that then AC ticks all the boxes (you can multiplayer on AC but can be hard to find a race, something which should change once the game is fully released).

I caved in and bought it based on all the glowing recommendations.

Bought this at full price on day one for £30. Well worth it. I have this and PCars and most other sim racing games and this is still my favourite although pcars online community is better. My Fanatec setup feels so good with this sim. WHen mates come around, they cant believe the quality of the game (and hardware). For £15, this is a steal, i never buy a game that is more than £6, but bought this in a snap. £10 at russian store, no brainer..... what you waiting for!?

If you like sims this is a great price and a fab game. If you like Grid 2/NFS wallbanging games then this may not be for you.

Make sure you download and try out Snoopy's Nord mod too. The modding scene is brilliant for this game as you can see in the videos below.

Good sim with regular updates, the only thing it lacks for me is a sensation of speed. for that reason i prefer race room with dtm pack

offline its ok however multiplayer is bad at the moment I know its alfa and things will improve...its still long way to go...if you really want to try sim racing than Rfactor 2 is the way to go or Iracing( you have to pay for that). Rfactor 2 has great community online many leagues friendly people everywhere:) also includes historic racing. Or just go with the flow and race Renault Megan online very popular:)

Alfa's are notoriously unreliable.

Finally, the one I have been waiting for and definitely going to break my £5 limit on PC games for this one.

Just scared it is going to make me want to upgrade my wheel too as only on a Logitech GT and got a house move to worry about too.

'Borrowed' a copy from the bay and was quite impressed, I felt £30 was too much but at £15 I just had to buy it. Now just need my Oculus rift to arrive

Anyone know of any good deals or recommendations on PC wheel and pedals? Assetto Corsa deserves it, I currently use 360 pad and it can be hit and miss.

you can start off with Logitech g25 or g27 still few for decent price on eBay however I would recommend to invest if you can in Fanatec pedals and your lap times will improve:)
