Just went to Tesco Aston Lane for some lunchtime grub when i spotted Aston villa employees giving out leaflets advertising this offer. It does not specify which areas of the the ground the £5 tickets are for but they said they wanted to fill the ground for the match on Saturday.

Just to clarify this offer is not seem to be through Tesco but i think they are using it as a reference. In other words don't go ringing the wrong company

When prices for games get too low it puts me off. At £15 for toon games are full of kids, thats not a problem if the kids a well behaved but they are more interested in been little ****s. Maybe thats just in newcastle.

Good price though

My colleague has managed to secure some tickets in the Doug Ellis Lower stand using this offer so not bad seats to be honest

Hi

Just called up, only available to poeple with a B6 or B20 postcode, ie live near the ground.

Would have loved to go to this... still bloomin' hot though! Cmon the Villa...

Brilliant offer!
I paid £25 for Holte End a few weeks ago for this game!

Thanks for the heads up Op

Bargain!

Good deal

If you miss out on this deal Leeds have released some tickets for the derby with Sheffield United. Just £34 for adults and £24 for children plus £1.50 booking fee per ticket means a dad and son can watch second division football for just £61

The booking fee for only £1.50? That makes this deal unmissable! Cheers!

It doesn't say how you collect your fiver ! And also do you have to stay the full 90 mins ?

Only joking, its a great deal.
l wish ken bates would cotton on to this idea or go somewhere he's wanted

I went to Leeds at the weekend. I got the ticket for £24 + £1 online booking fee and they won 2-1. IMHO opinion that is single handily the hottest deal of the year. ;-)

Wow great deal, worked for me and I live outside of brum

Good deal

great deal-my lad would love this - if only we were nearer !

might go to this.
Anyone phone up yet? What seats you manage to grab?

Just read this, that sucks. Probs needs to be added to the title.

hope you play better than just did against lonely stoke lol

Heat added; even though it sounds dull

I don't think this is limited to Birmingham postcodes!! I got 2 tickets and there was no mention of this limitation (I live in Chester) and I just mentioned it was a deal I'd seen on a tesco leaflet and it went through no questions asked!!

£2 booking fee on the tickets, so £12 for 2 premiership tickets.. I paid £80 for 2 city Blackburn tickets on the weekend!!

I just purchased 5 tickets, however they did ask for my postcode (I live in the B20 area) and what Tesco I saw the offer. £27 in total including £2 booking fee.

The woman also mentioned the carling cup game tickets against Blackbrun on the 22nd are on offer for £5.

They are checking for postcodes.
However, if you've got some kind of booking history, they seem to let you book the tickets regardless of where you live.
Be prepared to initially be told they only sell these £5 tickets to those living in Birmingham B6 or B20 postcodes, and they will also initially tell you that they will be posting tickets to those addresses only. If you have booking history, point it out and they'll likely 'do it for you this time'.

I don't live in Birmingham itself, but managed to secure two tickets in Block Q2, Doug Ellis.
Thanks to the OP, and thanks to avfc for putting these tickets up at such a good price.

It seems hit and miss, my colleague has booked some on this deal and he lives in Stourbridge which is miles away from Villa Park

When I grilled them about this Blackburn deal, I was advised it's only the junior tickets (under 16) that are £5 - anywhere in the stadium. Adults are £10 and upwards.
They weren't aware of any other deals for that carling cup game.
Is there something else you know about that perhaps I should have quoted to them?

hello if u want to get the tick for villa vs bolton where do u go and get it and what do u say or do u have to have the leaflet

Ring the number stated in the original post:

Tell them you saw the tesco leaflet deal and want to buy the £5 tickets.
They may ask you for your postcode, or advise that it only applies to people living in Birmingham B6 or B20 postcodes (Handsworth, Perry Barr, Aston etc).
You might be able to convince them to sell them to you even if you don't live in those postcodes, especially if you have some kind of booking history already, or if you can give them an address within those postcides which they can send tickets to.

is it £5 for all ages

Away fans are charged £36!!!!!!

is it £5 for all villa fans and all ages

Yes and yes, but the seats are in the Witton/Doug Ellis probably block Q2.
You have probably left it too late now.
Ring the number in the original post.

Turned out to be pretty decent seats, but an unsatisfactory performance and result on the day.
Still, not bad for £5 per person (plus booking fee).
