Yet another good deal from Villa. It cost's more than that to go to a non league game.

Not bad at all for a PL game

Cheers, saved me getting the calculator out.

Great deal!

Im an arsenal fan and depending on what game for one ticket at least £100+ so this is a fantastic price to watch a half decent premiership game heat added

Wish a few more clubs followed this example. If I was in Brum I'd certainly consider going even though I dont support either team.

i just hope the weather aint too cold that day either!

they are charging us sunderland fans £38!!! robbing bar stewards

Great deal, I bought the 3 for 50 quid deal before. Are Villa really struggling that much to sell tickets?

yep the way we are playing it should be get in free and if do good make a donation.

I went to villa a few months back. Seriously **** off. Queued up for ages in a massive queue for a ticket, got to the front and realised it was for the chippy.

I'll save you the time: Buddum tish.

The owner also owns the Cleveland Browns in the USA and they have the cheapest tickets in their league too...

i think with o.neill leaving, having k-mac and now gh, poor run of form and people being out of work, they are struggling to sell out games. theres still 33k+ tickets being sold for matches, but just the last few thousand they are struggling with. more people = better atmoshere/crowd

Well the villa TEAM got ripped off at our ground by losing when they deserved at least a draw !

The Sunderland fans will be seated in the Doug Ellis stand, where ticket prices are this high for Villa fans aswell - So please don't think you are being ripped off, you're paying the same price as Villa fans in that part of the ground.
The North Stand has the cheapest seats in Villa Park and also has much of the Family Area.
Be quick though, the North Stand always sells out quickly because of the cheaper tickets.
Just bought a half season ticket in the Holte End and looking forward to seeing Gyan play, even though I thought he was rubbish in the early stages of the World Cup.

A friend of mine took up one of these offers a couple of months back as the villa were advertising it for children, unfortunately all the seats were right next to the villa knobheads who spent all game swearing and throwing stuff on the pitch, it scared his kids to death and he had to leave at half time because of the abuse.

Be warned.

this offer has made its way onto a sunderland forum and is becoming popular with sunderland fans. cant blame them for wanting to pay £25 for 2 tickets when it's £38 in the away end.

4th consecutive price rise at villa park for away fans. £28 to £33 to £35 and now to £38. That is what you call a rip off. Under 16s are £23 which is the most expensive away under 16 ticket in the premiership, £3 more than chelsea!!

why didn't he just call a steward and have them removed , and I doubt anyone was throwing anything on the pitch mate it's illegal , and rarely happens these days . Yes you would be in with Villa fans it Villa Park . The lower North Stand is indeed a hostile place it's called atmosphere , something which is sadly lacking at most grounds now .

Thanks op, just booked

I reckon Villa v. Sunderland would be a good match.

'mon the Gyan!

If it helps the Sunderland fans, they should appreciate that this offer won't be available to the majority of Villa fans who attend the game including me!
Simply because it is limited to a few thousand tickets in the North Stand, not the rest of the ground, and is on a first come first served basis.
The purpose of the offer is to increase the attendance at what is historically a low attendance fixture, to increase attendances at time when the team have low form and to introduce local people to attend a game at Villa Park at a low cost in the hope that they will enjoy the experience and return for a full price game.
The suggestion that Sunderland fans have a gripe because of a limited seat offer to attendees in the Villa section is ridiculous!

Is it me, or are Aston Villa constantly giving offers on tickets? Blackburn do it, but that's understandable. I thought Villa were a well-supported almost-top-four club...

We talking about the same team? This isn't Arsenal it's Aston Villa! Birmingham city were giving away tickets to the Newcastle game with a £25 purchase in the club shop and its kids for a quid, yet that never gets a mention.

For over 100 years Aston Villa has been the best supported team in the Midlands; countering that fact, the Midlands does not have a high ratio of football fans. For example, ask 100 people in Liverpool which team they support and you'll get 80+ people give you an answer, ask in Birmingham and half the people will say they're not bothered about football. Bottom line is the Midlands doesn’t have the football fan base of the North or the money and corporate abundance of London.

Many league teams seem content to keep all their tickets at a high price, even at the expense of 25% empty stadiums and crowds of 22,000. If Aston Villa prefer to give decent value to their fans to up the attendance in a non-glamour game held straight after the expense of Christmas, from over 30,000 towards near 40,000, they should be commended.

If you looked at the support, tradition, class and success of Aston Villa you would realise it is a mistake to compare them with Birmingham City Football Club. In relative terms, Birmingham City Football Club has more in common with Walsall Football Club than Aston Villa.

What do you expect if you've been moved from the North lower behind the goal to arguably one of the best areas for view in the stadium

If you don't like it, don't go
