Come one guys, you not aware of all gaming athleticism, speed, violence and momentum??:) Going back to headset itself, I heard a lot good about it but my biggest concern is headband...looks fragile and easy to break....bad memories about my Tritton 720+ are coming back
Both Headset and Mixamp have been updated now so this is old tech. Should be at least another 20 quid cheaper and from a UK seller.

Should be alright. I had the original A40 from 2009 until 2015 and the headband didn't break. Had this exact headset for two years and now have the A50. All use similar headset designs and stand up to the test of time well. That being said I am careful with any tech items I buy. YMMV if you are the type to throw your headset or controller!

Had astro a50 myself for about 4 years, no quality issues no matter how hard I abused them, only issue was sometimes they lost connectivity with my mixamp, keep in mind they were 2nd Gen ones. I Recommend Astro as they are worth the money!

The headband is sturdy, no questions there.

Of course! They move their wrists extremely fast at athletic levels!
Even though I like the A40's. I personally think the combination of a Hyper X Cloud headset and a second hand Turtle Beach T.A.C Mixamp or a Astro Mixamp Pro TR. Both Mixamps can be had for £50 or less on CEX. I would recommend the Turtle Beach T.A.C out of the 2 mixamps due to more control and compatible with PC/PS4/XB1. Where with the TR mixamp white one only works with PC and XB1 and the black one only works with the PS4/PC.

Head band is very durable on the TR's. It's also removable and replaceable.
This set don't seem to be on any "top 10" gaming headset lists out there. Anyone used them with Fortnite / COD and can you hear where people are coming from? I see a few negative reviews on Amazon about the sound quality.

Going this way I would rather go for DT 770 or DT 990+SoundblasterX G6+Modmic A lot of £££ but imo best setup for consoles ever

Most reviews are paid for but...

trustedreviews.com/rev…iew

pcmag.com/rev…-tr

tomsguide.com/us/…tml

uk.ign.com/art…iew

armchairempire.com/Rev…iew

They get some pretty solid scores with a pro for all of them being excellent audio quality and a con for most being expensive and eGlobal solves that con.
