This is an amazing headset, not sure why this is cold

Got mine in the Bristol Cribs HMV

Maybe a bug, cuz I just gave it heat on the mobile app and it went cooler.

Thing that amazed me was that I've never seen them sold in there before. Some people might be making this cold due to the price being £130! Some people think that's too expensive.

RRP of £249.99 wow for a headset, £129.99 for me is about the right price. God knows how a headset can cost more then a ps3 or xbox360 console. Surely there must be headsets out there that does the same job for about £50.00

@The_Pellstar

Sure, but it depends on how you want to get the job done

im quite happy with my wireless gaming chair was only £50 from Argos, feels great having the speakers behind your ear and the gun noises making the chair vibrate through your body. Then again i think dr dre beats are poo and happy to use my £4.99 earphones so i prob know nothing

If someone can find one of these I would buy it from you, non near me A40 or A50

Good deal, but only a very small number of people will actually get it. I don't think I've ever seen a pair of Astros in any HMV I've even been in.

Probably less than a dozen people will actually get this deal.

Worth taking a look at this Xbox 360 only headset deal too if your in the market for a high end gaming headset. hotukdeals.com/dea…367

Got mine in the Bristol Cribs HMV

Did they have any left?

phoned Edinburgh, Livingston and Falkirk stores with no luck, as jaypr said it was in the system but the guy on the phone said he never heard any stores I phoned got them around here

Had 2 in Trafford centre this morning so I bought 1!

Thanks Scazza, had 3 in Aberdeen. 1 A50 left and at least 1 A40

Today only (1st April) Astro has a code for 50% off the A50 for registered users.

Use APRILFOOLS50 to get the discount off the price (excluding VAT). So with VAT and postage the cost is £152.

I tried to find these for my sons birthday at HMV but had no luck finding stock but at least with this code I managed to get a reasonable saving.

Once you have registered and logged into the Astro site add the A50's to your basket and at the checkout you will see a box to enter the promotion code. Then the price will change when you apply the code.

I tried to submit the deal but the mods would not allow as they say then are not a UK business, even though they have a UK registered office! Next they will be saying Amazon are not a UK business (which is actually quite true) and removing all Amazon deals.

Tried making a thread this morning for this deal aswell but was told by mods that it was a new merchant and had to have some background checks made on it. Shame as people are going to miss out on a really great deal, even though Astros are expensive they are great premium quality headsets 50% off for one is pretty much unheard of.

As much as it pains me to write this but there are 2 sets at the Metro Centre shop in Gateshead (north east).

I paid 250 in January, and im crying a little inside!!

No idea why the hell this hasnt scorched the roof off, amazing headsets, battery life a little low, but by far the best wireless headsets money can buy, and comfort is still ye to be beaten!

that's a shame - definitely worked earlier

You can also pick up a Sennheiser U320 headset in HMV for £59.99 at the moment if you can't stretch to £130 but want a decent multi platform headset. There were 3 in the Merry Hill store today.

im a sad hamster now

They seem to have expired it early, I'm guessing they didn't quite expect to get the amount of orders they did in such a short space of time (_;)

Can't believe some people still dont realise that significant price differences usually mean significantly higher quality.

Definitely the case here, although Turtle Beach have the audacity to charge the same amount, if not more, for their garbage.

Hey, whats the mic like on xbox or whatever console you use, has it improved with firmware updates?

There were 3 sets in reading hmv yesterday when I was in awesome offer got myself 1 :-) cheers for the heads up.

Drove all the way to the HMV store in Reading this morning and even though they still have 1 in their system it wasn't there. They reckon it might have been stolen. Really annoying because all the HMV stores in my area (I live in Surrey) have been closed recently. Does anyone know any HMV store in the South that still has them???
