Exactly what I thought. Which Switch games actually support chat? I know that Splatoon 2 does but via mobile phone. I thought all voice chat for switch was via mobile phone

All switch games support chat, though it’s through the mobile app. If you look at the pictures for this headset it comes with a 1 into 2 adapter which mixes the audio from the Switch and the mobile device. I don’t have this one but have a similar thing by Hori and it works quite well in sync with the Switch, other than the 3 miles of cables all over my living room that is...
Well to bad you cannot use a headset when you play Zelda on TV!
