I'm looking for a laptop for my 9 year old

He wants it mainly to play mine craft and some other games -
Would this be any good

Could some one please give me advise as I do not have a clue about laptops and what any of the specs mean

Not for games, you need a dedicated graphics machine or at least a faster/better processor...
Good deal but sold out now.

Look for a laptop that has a latest generation Intel i3 processor atleast, includes a up to date and powerful integrated graphics card that can handle nearly all games your 9 yr old would want

seen it at tescos last night, slow as hell.
Looks nice but that Celeron has a Passmark of 1000. For the same price I personally would rather get a refurbished 3rd gen i5 with Passmark score of 4000
This laptop is such a low performance laptop you better off spending this on kebabs.
there are loads of laptops with the N2840 Atom/Celeron around this price and less.

I wonder if the specs are right, not having an HDMI port?
