Ysee Im one of those that cant see the refresh rate difference haha

Best screen Ive ever had was my yamakasi catleap 2b 27" 1440, apparantly the big draw to them was they could be overclocked to 120Hz, I left mine bog standard haha

I believe the sweet spot for 1440p is 27". Refresh rate won't come into it as it refers to pixel density.

I strongly recommend checking for a DisplayNinja review on any monitor before buying it. They're very helpful. (edited)

something a lot cheaper than this... You don't need a high refresh rate or good colours or any advanced features or io for that

Aye I reckon the sweet spot is 32"@1440p 1080 would just look clunky to me

Refresh rate is definitely noticeable. But when talking about sweet spots for monitors, people are usually only referring to screen size and resolution.

Refresh rate complicates things slightly. Higher is better, but you'll need to first check whether your graphics card can handle 144fps at 1080p for the games you want to play. (edited)

    I've got a 1080p 32" 144hz monitor and it doesn't look pixelated or clunky.

This would make a good dual use monitor as a TV/second monitor in a bedroom

1080p 32" is same PPI as 720p 24", I can only imagine this being useful for watching movies or gaming from far away, for productivity you want PPI of 1080p 24" or more

Agree for productivity to some extent, but this is advertised as a gaming monitor. I use mine for sim racing and I'm pretty close to the screen and its perfectly fine. I also use it for my day to day work. No problems. (edited)
