Searched around for the Asus branded 4890 and this is the cheapest around even undercutting novatech, its also clocked at 950MHz instead of the standard 850MHz, plus with overclocking utilities this is a nice card for the money.

Why so cold? I am really considering something like this card as an upgrade from my 8800 GTX.

What's the next best price or is there a better deal on this?

seems a fair price from me too. especially for the type of card and the OC' on the gpu speed.

warmed it up a little for you

Very interested in this. Would be a good upgrade, at a very reasonable price.

Does anyone have one of these? I have a quick question.

The description says built in HDMI with 5.1 surround sound support. The picture, however, appears to show 2 DVI sockets on the card. Does it actually have an HDMI connector, and can you confirm that this also carries audio?

Thanks,
Kevin.

Comes with DVI to HDMI converter, if you use a 1.3 cable, it will carry sound, same with 4850 and 4870

Thanks for the info. Bit confusing, the description. If you have to use a convertor, then how can they describe this as built in HDMI :?

Anyway, if I use a 1.3 HDMI cable, as you suggest, I take it this would carry audio from any source played on my PC to my HDTV? Blu Ray, AVI, MKV etc?

Thanks,

One thing to note aswell, is that you have to add another £10 or so for delivery (for anyone who doesn't qualify for free delivery with them), making this £170
