Asus Chromebook Flip at the best price I could find.

It has a very good battery life, touch screen and an ARM based CPU, the main drawback being the screen definition 1280x800

As of today (or yesterday) it can get full access to Android apps through Google Play (you need to switch to the developers channel).

Apologies if it's missing any important information, it's my first deal.

It has been slightly cheaper but that boat has sailed

Why cold?

Is there any better price right now? If yes, please share, I haven't ordered mine yet
Looks like the best price right now, worth noting that it regularly drops below £200 on Amazon and Argos eBay though.
be interested to know if anyone knows of a chromebook for sale with a touchscreen larger than 11.6"? all the ones I've seen are not available from our shores

ermm no! lol thinking more the £200 - £250 price. would have thought there would have been an Acer, Asus, or HP model in there somewhere. when I started googling them it's amazing how many models are not available to the uk, only in the US....Some trade deal the EU got us with them

I don't think there is as much interest for the Chromebooks yet as there is in the US, over there they are regularly outselling any other laptops

I just don't think this a great value Chromebook, although it's far more relevant now that Android apps are accessible. The 11.6" Acer CB3-111 gets hot when it's under £100.00 because it's a great, fit for purpose Chromebook at a low price.

Advice now is to wait. With Google opening up the Play Store to Chrome OS, there is going to be a shift in thinking how Chrome OS devices should be made, with potentially more emphasis on being more like the Android tablets or phones currently out there, such as the addition of touchscreens, gyroscopes and modems.
