Not a bad deal for a very capable router. Not seen a price reduction on this recently.

88u if you need 8 ports / link-aggregation otherwise 86u is better especially VPN performance and can be had for less.
Nice find @Flyingzard thanks for sharing this discounted price!

Seems to be £209-229 everywhere else at the moment, this is a very capable bit of kit and with LTE internet & g.fast built in, there is not really anything it cannot do for the price, if you have Sky / SkyQ or 1gb Fiber this will push it around your property with no issues or lag in anyway!
Good price if you need/want the built in modem.

(This one only has 4 LAN ports as well I think).

Thanks - my first post I have been looking at getting one of these to sort out my flaky plusnet drop outs. Hopefully this will help with that. Surprised its going cold as i have not seen it this low anywhere for ages!

Have you read the Amazon reviews? The 2.4GHz wireless stops working after a few weeks or months and you have to replace the box.

some reviewers are not the best and some love it. Here's hoping to get a good one. Sick to the back teeth of the plusnet router. I am on my third now

Just a bug in firmware, have to disable 'airtime fairness' under professional wireless settings and all good.

Nice find If you have prime. Mine arrived yesterday less than 24 hours from ordering from very (if you go for the free click and collect service). Super happy with it. Amazingly i have gone from a 25 mb connection to 35! WiFi is miles better and so far no disconnects. It looks cool but it is on the large size!
Recommended VDSL modem router with in built VPN.
Been using since launch and ASUS have been good at firmware fixes for bugs that I've reported on ASUSTECH forum
It's utterly hopeless. The firmware was getting worse, it couldn't hang on to ADSL sync, and eventually it gave up trying. I slung it back to Amazon for a refund. Asus' non-DSL routers are excellent - their DSL ones are complete rubbish.
