Cheapest I can see for this card, Have used this card in new build, very quiet, can't hear it at idle or at load, best HD 6970 I have used for a build yet.

Would a 650w psu have enough in the tank to power this?

Yeah I got one of these in my own system running on Thermaltake Evo Blue 650Watt, needs 2 x 8 pin, card comes with 1 adaptor though. Gotta say the best gpu ive used, so quiet and powerful. If your after hd 6970 this is the best imo..

Wouldnt this be better from Ebuyer?

Powercolour 6970 PCS+

Clocked higher out the box, comes with modern warefare 2 which if you have you can sell on ebay for about £20.00

And i think the warranty is 5 years (dont quote me)

Here is a review: futuremark.com/new…or/

"While ASUS DirectCU II model is very impressive overall product, it still gets blown out of the water by the higher-clocked PowerColor PCS+ model."

Still the ASUS card is a very good buy! Flame on

That is a good card aswell, supposedly noisy under load though. The ASUS HD 6970 DC II is usually around £300+ it is built with best components and 3 year warranty. For the price and quailty of the card + it is silent, this is the best card imo.

Reading the top review the Asus model was released and reviewed after the Powercoler version and they say the Asus is the best HD 6970 so far. I guess Depends which brand you prefer, Asus or Powercolor, both are good in my opionion.
