Its possible to get this for £269.99 according to Mikey91, see below:

"Just checked and HMV student discount works on this bringing it down to £269.99 - so some info for anyone that also has it.

Please don't PM me about the discount, you can only get it if you have an old HMV student card from a few years back!"

Most of us will already be aware of "replacement imminent..... market in disarray.... prices will fall...." etc. But as of now this is a hot price for a very well regarded tablet. Have some heat.
Is it like an iPad?
2-3 weeks for dispatch. Does this include the keyboard as well?
Hot at the moment, nice find
Does any one know whether this has the keyboard as well?

Went to my local HMV and the price was for the tablet only I am afraid.

Thank you for this info.

I've got one of these (with the keyboard) it's a brilliant tablet and can be used as a netboook if you get the keybaord. I'm going to be selling mine soon though as I'll be back to work soon (bought as I was having knee surgery). Deal is very hot as I paid about £420 for mine I think. If anyone is interested in a second hand perfect condition one drop me a PM.
Is a great tablet i have one myself. Worth £300 all day.

Much, much better.
'usually dispatched in 2 to 3 weeks' - by the time you get it, it will have went down £50 in value (_;)

+ This doesn't include keyboard.
Can this be combined with either of the O2 Priority instore offers? "20% off selected technology" = £60 saving or the "£5 voucher for every £20 spent" = £75 voucher.

Great price - normally £349, IIRC - I have one, with the keyboard dock, and it is a great tablet.
Yes, new version is imminent (about 3 months for UK, perhaps) but this will not suddenly be a poor device either.
Probably the best of the current crop, and ASUS are very good/speedy at releasing updates (currently been on 3.2 for some time)

hmm a big decision, don't know wether to buy this as its a great price or hold out for the prime peoples ideas?
Interesting. Really want the keyboard, but that can be had seperately for less than the cheapest bundle I can find (£399 @ ISME / Very)

Hot deal (for now).
Does anyone know of a good deal on the keyboard dock?

Think i am going to wait, my wallet says buy this now, by my head says wait till the prime.

Good deal, but I'd still wait for a better deal. These things are all over the place and getting as cheap as chips

Definitely not the case, I've used my friends extensively and it is horribly slow to use. I am very anti apple but the ipad is a lovely bit of kit for what it is and pretending it isn't is just denial.

How much without the dock then? Cant find any price

har42

you can buy without the dock

look on amazon.de or the link i posted above tells you the price.
The trouble with technology is that you could be forever waiting for the next thing to come along. Lifes too short - if you see something that's a bargain (which this is!) and you want it, go for it!
just import it from the US and you'll save about £150.

is that before or after the import duty?

you'll still save plus it may get through without charge.
bit of a risk hoping it gets through though isn't it?
Nice, have some heat.
According to Techradar website
'The Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime price isn't too scary

As with the previous Eee Pad Transformer, the Transformer Prime is priced to sell: the US price will be $499 for the 32GB model and $599 for the 64GB, while the dock will be an additional $149.
The Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime UK price, bundled with the keyboard dock, will be £499.'

Another thing is £499 will be for the 32GB version as they are only doing 32GB & 64GB so the Prime isn't that expensive compared to this when it first came out.

About £70 on-top at worst.
