Seems decent to me! 450 is only very slightly better than 270 btw, very negligible.

Maybe I am missing something but I have Windows 7 Starter on the MSI Wind U130 and it seems great. It does not allow you to change the desktop background by default but there is a workaround for that. Are there other things that I am missing that are essential as I seem to see a lot of comments that Windows 7 is awful but no reason why?

Nothing bedwettingly critical
Dual monitor support is the biggest issue , but you can still pump iPlayer out the VGA socket into a big screen TV (but you will have to launch it from the BIG screen TV too

Anything that takes away aeroglass cannot be that evil

Very nice machine, pretty similar to my 1001ha I got from PC World for 199 with 6 cell a while back, serves me on the road beautifully!

It can be hackintoshed but you will need to get a USB wi-fi dongle or internal wi-fi card compatible with OS X
