Cheaper than some of the far Eastern tabs coming through now.

Got to be a bargain at that price???
Good price, wish the keyboard would be included
Heat added.
But read this first if you want to update to ICS: ICS

Don't we all, but it wouldn't be at this price then...

Just think that its easier to carry without the keyboard

As they're manufacturer refurbished, I'd think that they'd already be runing ICS?

People that bought the deal from Tire1 (also manufacturer refurbished) reported that their machines arrived with ICS upgrade installed.

I wasn't sure as the eBay item still states the Android HC.
Yes, mine from Tier 1 came with ICS and is running great. Not had a full battery through it yet but I read the most recent update (.24?) Fixed the battery drain issue.

Well done Asus for continuing support and for bringing ICS to the device without having to root and flash a custom ROM.

Granted they have some negatives, but still 99% fb overall isn't too bad.

I think aerotec will confirm that the Tire1 offer said HC as well. I 'think' they take the description from the official Asus release.

True, had a further look and they've sold a shed load of cheap Elonex tablets last month with good feedback. More tempted now.

Surprised to find the keyboard is still going for around £80 on ebay. Makes the tier1 offer look very good but they're out of stock now.
Good price...

These are nice little devices, and personally I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of keyboard. I've hardly used the keyboard on mine - it just doesn't respond like a proper computer keyboard, so I tend to just get frustrated with it. An Android device is not capable of all the things a computer with a normal OS can do, so adding the keyboard does not make it into a viable laptop/netbook replacement.

As a tablet, OTOH, I think it's great.
Not available to NI O_O why..........

i've got this tablet and find it very stable on the 2 latest firmware updates, i have been following the thread in your link and i don't get any of the problems that others seems to get
I just bought the Transformer with keyboard for £207 inc P&P last week. No warranty but as new
Love my Transformer, it is a great tablet, but as somebody mentioned earlier, it is not a PC even with the keyboard, so probably better off without it.

This is a great price, heat added..

Nervous about the 99.1% positive feedback, better than the majority of high street stores. Some of those negatives didn't deserve to be negative, such as "am getting a full refund" boo hoo!

Decent for the price, the Tegra processor is 1GHz dual core which still holds it's weight but maybe beginning to show it's age, however for the price and size of the tablet it's good when compared with prices of equivalent new / used models.

Depends what you do or want to do with your devices, I find this with the keyboard is probably sufficiently good, for me to leave my ultra portable netbook at home next time I go on holiday to the states, there's precious little day to day it doesn't do or can't be made to do, but the extended battery life twin memory card slots and reliability, are worth putting up with the downsides.

From my perspective the only things I would miss are Visual Studio and SQL Server, and to be honest neither is easy on a lightweight portable PC anyway. All the MS Office Apps can be replaced with pretty capable equivalents, similarly photo editing packages.

There should be no cause for alarm because it works well with the new Asus ice cream sandwich update. Had a few problems when i first updated mine but now it works perfectly with the new update.
Dear valued ASUS customer,
At ASUS, one of the key commitments we make to our customers is a relentless drive to deliver the best user experience. We constantly strive to achieve this goal through our ‘Design Thinking’ philosophy that includes regular software and firmware updates for our products.
We are pleased to announce that many of our tablet products are scheduled to receive an update to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean. The ASUS Transformer Pad, ASUS Transformer Pad Prime and ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity are all scheduled to receive Android 4.1 updates in the coming months. We will provide further guidance on our expected timeframes for these updates near their release.
We are still investigating Jelly Bean updates for other devices, but we are not in a position to confirm whether any other products will be eligible for an update at the moment.
Thank you for your continued support.

Gone for this, my 1st foray into tablets. Wanted 10" and card slot to extend memory if needed on a reputable tablet... I think this seems to cover the bases. Cheers to OP.

If you have a read of what these negative feedbacks have been for, you'll find that they are mostly for cheap Chinese items that you would expect to break. Things like rip-off headphones and cheapo Android tablets. I might buy it...but I'm still not quite sure. 7" or 10". Humhar.

That looks like a fake... oO but it isn't xD
It looks square...and I'm hesitant on assuming it's a "squished" image since things like the font on the box and the speaker in the reflection of the screen look to be proportionally sound.

You were late arriving
soo tempted by this... even though I know a better one is out later in the year..
Been waiting for a decent tablet to be at a good price. Was looking at getting the Prime, but that doesn't seem to have shaken the world as much as I thought it would with all the build up and promising spec, so the original Transformer will do for me.
So I think I'm guna take a punt with this!

Good find
Just checked my Ebay info and mines out for delivery for today! Considering I didn't order until 6:30 last night that really great service!

The things is, just how many Android apps need a quad core cpu to get the best out of them?

With the ICS update I can't see this getting outdated until this time next year, by which time the all singing quad core machines will be at this price. . .
Stuck between a 32gb playbook and this - just used for surfing, watching the odd movie on a plane and that would be about it...
Went the iPad route myself but I was so so close to ordering one of these. Great price and a brilliant bit of kit!!

Ordered one - weighed it up and with the gorilla glass it can be a play thing for the 15 month old daughter as well.

Mate this is infinitely superior to a Playbook in every way, Size, screen ,ecosystem, OS everything. It's a supported device not an abandoned one as well.
Great deal, heat added. I've had one for over 12 months as I've commented in other threads. Easy to root and overclock to a stable 1.6Ghz. Use PDAnet on iPhone4S as a 3G gateway for free (thanks Three for all you can eat!). Plays 720p MKV without issue once taken to 1.2GHz or higher. Lovely 800 pixel deep HD screen (not as good as iPad3 mind). Great Wolfson DAC and Op Amp in headphone stage for very good sound on cans.

Buy one if you fancy a tablet or get sucked into the marketing machine and believe that new ones do "so much more". They don't really, just like the new C class Mercedes doesn't do anything much different to the previous C class.
