I am just a bit gutted I bought an NC10. This looks like a great machine with an even better battery life. Apparently was £344.48.

The comments make me feel a bit better. I paid £299.99 for my Nc10. Don't need the big hard drive. Just wanted a nice netbook with Windows and a big battery life. This is almost £70 cheaper.

I'm about to order an NC10 for a family member- after seeing this, I'm still going to buy a Sumsung.
Its a better machine. Yeah, it gonna cost a bit more, but its worth the extra.

Pro's and cons between NC10 and 901:

NC10 (non SE) 6 cell is 5200mAH
901 6 cell is 6600mAH

901 has wireless N, NC10 does not

NC10 has 10.2" screen
901 has 8.9" screen

NC10 has 160GB 5400 rpm
901 has 12GB SSD

NC10 warranty 1 year
901 warranty 2 years

NC10 adequate speakers
901 good speakers

901 trackpad is larger than NC10

NC10 keyboard is larger than 901

Personally I think the NC10 wins in the looks department.

For the price this is a great little netbook if you don't need a lot of space. Voted hot!

The Battery Life: Up to 8 Hours is good and the price is good, the 900A Linux version only has 2.5 hours battery.

Eee 900 and 901 are fundamentally *different* machines, so not a good comparisson. Processor & battery life are ***far*** superior in the 901 models.
