Thanks

Wow pretty impressive spec for the price. FullHD, Touch screen and Blu Ray? Decent CPU and 4GB of RAM. Nice for an all in one

Think this one was a good deal a couple of days ago when it was around £479 amazon.co.uk/Len…E2F
Unfortunately price has now gone up to £556.78.

I think this is very hot...
Full HD 21.6" screen
T6500 Processor
4GB ram
Dedicated graphics card with blue-ray
500GB hdd
All for £400?! Plus is looks nice... Please don't make me buy my 4th computer oO

Heat added.
Ebuyer price is nearly £800 so this looks like a good deal.

Although it says single-touch not multi-touch.

beat me to it

Not bad for the money but the same with all these things, old tech inside.

In terms of raw performance, the Mobility Radeon 4570 is about on par with Intel HD graphics. Better driver support for games though.

Sorry, Have to vote it cold as it's only 32 bit so you are paying for 4 gb of ram but only getting 3.

Yes but your not going to see anything like this at this price with a sandy bridge chip in it.

The other 1gb will be allocated to graphics so not all lost if 32bit os..

Correct. If you're happy to do so though, the license covers both so can reinstall over the top (but shouldn't be something you'd have to).

Careful though: They may only have installed 32bit for one of two reasons - easier to support, as no doubt someone would find the one application or bit of hardware that refuses to work or it could well be that they couldn't write compatible drivers for their own hardware (screen or other component).

(having said that. Voting cold on paying for 1GB is a tad mean! How much does that cost?)

Now selling at £599 :-(

Hi m8.
I saw nothing about the licence covering 64 bit so had to assume it is only 32.
My cold vote is due to anoyance at being duped out of a gig.
If it's fitted and paid for it should work.
I have nothing against Asus as I am on my Asus netbook now and it's fine.
I also have an Advent laptop which I bought with 4gb of ram but only 32 bit os on it and although it seems to work fine, I feel cheated.

Well depends as the price difference will be pretty tiny. Would I go with 2x1gb in dual channel (1.75gb usable) and save £10. Or 3gb (2x2gb+1x1gb) and have single channel and save only a few pounds or 4gb and not using 0.75gb of it?

Aye but you're missing my point.
I bought it as a 4gb machine.
They sold it marked as 4 but it isn't.
That's devious but that's what I should have expected from Pee World. oO
I would have demanded a refund but it was a good machine in all other respects.
Nothing else in the shop could match it for the price.

I don't know, that CPU is 2 generations behind - a 2100 should run circles around it. If you don't need the compact form factor, you can probably build a similar system for the same money, and you have more flexibility. I know it is not the same, but it is an option.

And if it is Windows 7 32bit, that would be a deal breaker for me. No point starting to use obsolete software now :-).

Cold, cheaper at comet
