i'm looking for gaming laptop moving away from desktop is this good for games in future?

i play games like Tales of symphonia( Lloyd mad max pang adventures etc.
I know nothing about laptops,but I can see people saying 6gb graphics may be a bit weak??

100% not, most people own graphics cards with 3/4gb so 6gb of vram is plenty.
Looks alright. Get a mouse, a bag and some game bundles with it too. Plus it's a 6GB card. Heat.

For anything that this laptop is ever going to be able to run, 6GB is plenty. The only way you'd need more is if you were running in QHD/UHD on an external monitor, at which point the 1060 itself will be your bottleneck.

As for the deal itself, it's good rather than spectacular. All the machines in this sort of price range have to make compromises though. It'd be interesting to hear from anyone who has it what the screen is like. Seems to be a variety of screens available on this model and it's not terribly clear (to me anyway) which one this has.

And avoid the FX504 because they have hard thermal and power limit throttles built-in. I had one with the 8300H and 1050, so no idea how the hex-core CPU and faster GPU will fare.
