Possible 14% TopCashBack for first credit order - not sure if buy now pay later counts as credit.
At 2.2 kg I wouldn't say 'exceptional portability' but not too bad for a light-gaming, all-round machine

Worth a try but you are right
Would this be suitable for a non-gaming user? (editing audio files, photographs, possibly video... as well as the more bread-and-butter Word, PowerPoint, etc. I have a Surface Pro 3 (which I like... but, although the machine is nippy, the ergonomics slow me down... the use of the mouse, the touchpad, etc. I think I need a more conventional machine)

Yes it would be fine for photo editing due to its ips screen, audio editing will also be fine. The touchpad is a one piece so may irritate.

I had this for 4 months and sold it, got the 505DT instead. I wasnt a lover of the AMD rx560x gpu, it was ok for gaming but just preffered the gtx 1050 on the other one.
The Acer Nitro 5 had the same spec as this at £100 less the other day and it's better reviewed and built machine too.

Totally agree, but for £440 someone on a budget or for a child it’s a good price...

I definitely think so, am not a child and wish I had this instead of my crappy i3 Ideapad

Worth comparing with Nitro 5 at similar price, like suggested above
It has a spare bay for a 2.5 hard drive also
Paq96 takes another 50 off on your first order, so takes this down to 390

im not really a pc gamer these days so have forgotten quite a bit of suitable tech knowledge over the years, but im presuming this would good for things like civilization/fm20/skyrim/forza/anno 1880

Yes would play them, the higher the spec game the lower the settings, but won’t have a problem playing those games...
