Though I am not to sure how concrete this statement actually is.There happens to be a lot of items that have fallen down in price a whole lot as well. There's a StormForce PC for £4.99 that's got a Ryzen 5 in it There is an MSI Gaming Laptop for £25.99 as well

Snitches get stitches
Id expect a 1080 for this price, cold

Not letting you view in app
Definitely a misprice - should be £899.99.
Will not be honoured even if you do get an order through....
Mis priced obvs

Website just hangs when I tried to add to the trolley. I guess they've seen their mistake!
Yea can't add it, clearly a massive misprint, doubt they would honour even if you could add it which you cant

Anyone with this kind of budget is likely to be a REAL enthusiast. Not sure I'd settle for anything other than a than a Threadripper build with Titan X's in 3 way sli.
I've tried to add to basket about 50 times, and its finally just allowed me to. Ordered using PayPal, fingers crossed!

I am a bit anti-gaming to be honest, but for this price couldn't resist, can probably flip it for £500 anyway. Cheers OP.

Good luck , everything crossed, or have you found the magic 50 number for actually getting a mis-price.

No, I went back and to the site quite a few times, and tried a couple of different browsers/mobile.

Just spoke to Argos directly

And what was you hoping to gain from doing that?

If I wasn't able to reserve it online, possibly I could have spoken to someone and they might be able to reserve me one in store, without having to go through the website. Alas it didn't work. Admittedly the first person I spoke to was going to honour the deal but then she couldn't get through to my local Argos in order to place the order for the item.

Dumb idea in hindsight but worth a go

Actually they were well aware of the issue when I rang them, so I had no part in the problem, plus from what I was told a lot of other people did the same

My intention was to never allow the deal to go away, just to find a different avenue to purchase the item
Imagine nobody phoned Argos and we all actually got a pc at a decent price hmmm.

Is it not obvious to you that a 'computer' can make a mistake, but as soon as you involve a human, that mistake will be noticed and rectified?

Hate to burst your bubble but Argos are the worst when it comes to honouring the item's pricing error, so in actual hindsight none of us would have got the PC to begin with

By the looks of things a lot of different items have had the same issue so once that happens it flags up on their system, nothing to with involving a human or anything, they won't honour the deal it's in their damn terms and conditions

Heck the PC right now is £1000 so best of luck getting a £920 discount there bud

So back to my original question, why did you call? Was you hoping your natural charm would work and that a human would send you the PC, because you're nice?
shu1234 m ago

As I mentioned previously, since the item wasn't actually allowing me to add it on the website I sort a different avenue in order to purchase the item, since I had no idea if the item was in my local argos i gave them a ring, at first they were going to honour it but then she couldn't make the purchase either and once I went through to customer service they were already aware of the issue and were fixing it.

She was actually going to honour the deal but she had no way to purchase the item so she couldn't give me said item. So my charm actually did work

The call wasn't to raise the issue in any way, why would I do that? I want the pc as much as anyone else, just sort to find another way to purchase it.

Another way you could have got the pc was to go through John Lewis, since they price match the item

Cool story bro......

Someone mentioned that Argos were aware of all the glitches and was impossible to add to a basket as the offending products had, had the HTML code removed. Feel free to post a screen grab, but I smell a troll
