Some other recent laptop deals posted prompted a discussion as to whether additional HDDs could be added and some came without a DVD - this has both as standard as well as a good spec. I bought one.

Good deal
Anyone know much about this processor and graphics card? Worth it?

I did a few CPU comparison tests and it seems on par with a higher end laptop, med/high PC i5. However the dedicated graphics card with its 4GB and the onboard 8Gb Ram means that it will be no slouch. I actually spoke to Fevzi Turkalp about it and he said what with the Quad Core and turbo 3.6MgHz clock speed it should be zippy.

Ugh, a laptop that can game in 1080p resolution is gonna cost way more than £500. Unless you have a lot to spend, which raises the question of why you'd be on this site, 1080p gaming budget is firmly for desktops.

There was a HP laptop with a 1050 that runs at 1080p few month back thats the best deal ive seen though
Great price, however note "Not Included (On this Model) - External Optical Drive Available Seperately for £29.99"

The DVD was included when I purchased mine (Black Fri) but did not get included in the shipment (is an external USB unit), I contested this and got one sent. However, Saved on Laptops are same as BOX,co.uk and BOX strip out the DVD and sell on ebay for £29,99, howver, If you buy through BOX you can get TopCashback though.
Would this laptop run Rome Total war 1 I use to play this game when it first came out not played it in years and would love another round at but not clued up on what I need and my budget is only around 600 please help a fellow gamer
