Why would you speend £135 on the last gen 1050 Ti, when you can pick up the more powerful RX 570 and GTX 1650 for around the same price or maybe a tenner more?

Totally agree. Ridiculous price for this. Sub £100 is where this should be.

Even the 1650 is pretty terrible value, you'd really want the 1650 Super but this is just cold. 1050 Ti should be £100 and even then an RX 570 offers significantly more perforamnce for not much more cost.

I agree 100%, but I haven't checked the prices of the Super variant, I knew a 1650 and a 570 are both around the £140 or less price range (I think the 580 and 590 have been down to around £150 as well recently). It still goes to show how bad this deal is, if the 1650 which is a terrible value is still a better deal than this card.

Edit: So did a quick search on just this site and you can get the RX 570 for £110.

Yeah, terrible deal. The 1050ti is a very old card now and wasn't even that hot when it was new performing WAY under even the 1060 3GB, which wasn't much more at the time. Ebuyer really should know better than charging this for such an old card, guess they hoping to part unsuspecting punters from their Xmas cash (like the OP presumably if they think this is good)
I’m not saying the price warrants this deal to be hot, but to say there is no market for this type of card in 2019/2020 is wrong.... I’ve just bought one!

The reason being that I’m an extremely “casual” gamer..... as in I’ll play a game once in a blue moon on a pc. I already have an old Dell Optiplex 790 MT with an old Intel I3, and this is more than enough for what I need it to do, such as type up a few word documents, adjust a few spreadsheets, and browse the internet. Now there’s only so much you can do in terms of upgrades on the Dell 790, but one of them happens to be to install a better SFF LP graphics card which is powered directly from PCIe on the MOBO and the GTX 1050 ti is probably the best GFX card you can buy for it that doesn’t consume much power (rated at 75w, but generally will consume half of this) and can run off of PCIe.

I definitely don’t want to buy a whole new PC just to play the odd game once in a while so this GFX makes sense.... but yeah if it was a little cheaper it would be hot from me

How about the GTX 1650? same price, around 50% more powerful and and also rated at 75w.
