Basically very are giving you 30 pounds towards your nexus.

Yeah good deal especially with TCB, im trying to get it from john lewis atm but this will be a good second option

I tried and got all the way through the process, but no option to put in a code.
So was being charged over £200, I cancelled the order within 15 minutes and 12 hours later received confirmation the order was not able to be processed, however it appears to still being going through, despite 6 Emails repeating cancellation and closure of account.
Now I see they are dispatched - so looks like I will have to refuse delivery or go through a returns procedure - Grrr

8.08% cashback with TCB for new customers which makes it £156

£169 for the Nexus 32Gb?! Isn't this a really good price? Seriously, why isn't this hotter? Just because you have to sign-up for Very?

Is this a good tablet?

ive set up an account but cant see the 30 credit?

and also get 7% cashback off quidco

Hot from me as I took up this exact deal nearly 2 months ago via here (then it reached over 1000degs)

From my experience my order was first declined as it worked out at over £200 on a first order and very decided to check against the edited electoral role (which I opt out of), could not find me and so declined the order. I had to call up, then they put it through while I was on the phone. While on the phone I got them to put the £30 new customer on as well as 6 months interest free.

I have until the end of May to pay £169 back. However, the postage amount, £3.95 I think it was, did not go on the 6 months interest free so had to make sure and send that as a payment to them within the first month.

Lastly as my first order was declined and they put it through as a new one the next day over the phone, I am not sure if I will get TCB as it tracked that first order, not the second....

Quite the tempting deal, this. How easy it it to close your account once you have cleared the balance?

I suspect very (see what I did there!?) because if you could close the account wouldn't that mean you could open a new one as a new customer and get £30 off again?

It's certainly better in many aspects to iPad mini. But nowhere near as good as a full sized iPad, but then that's a different market!

Just out of interest, assuming I am reading the colour chart right, why do they think a lightning connector is better than micro usb?

I went through the scary "Registration" which means signing up for a credit agreement. Then on the payment page there was a voucher box over on the right hand side below the basket. I put in the code 2d8gz and it did add it as a £30 voucher.

So it looks like it has gone through correctly.

Thanks, heat added.
Now have to clear that card and then cancel it.

i got the galaxy tab2 instead as the lack of a micro sd card port is ridiculous.

I would avoid using these welcome offers....as VERY have been known to chase customers for voucher misuse!

I don't think you are reading it right.

Ordered through Very last week and it arrived within three days. Absoutely love it too Very are obviously not anyone's favourite site, but this is a great deal. Get that balance paid off within six months, and never look back! Muchos heat added

Did this trick with the cheap Logitech G510 keyboard from a year or so ago, It did come off in the end, But wouldn't go through it again just to save 30 quid, I know 30 quid is 30 quid, But, 'Just my opinion', It's not worth the agro.

is the £30 given back to you straight away?
can i pay off the balance straight away without applying for credit?

This is seriously hot. £170 for 32GB Nexus 7? If I was interested in buying a tablet I'd take that any day.

just ordered have some heat

i've used this 30 quid back offer before ( for a kobo ) ....and yes it works fine, had no issues.
If you pay it in full then they credit your debit card back the same time they take the full amount..
If you take the option to use the account you create ....then they add 30 quid back to your account.

In theory best to pay it in full so you aren't tied to spending the 30 pounds cash back with them ;-)

Also to open another account, you only need a new email addy ....you can use the same address/card details several times.
So if you need a couple or want something else, just resign up with a different email address and reuse the code to save yourself 30
