Better off getting a 1050ti
Great to see this back at "retail" price again. Crushes the the 1050ti on price/performance ratio.

better off getting an ATI All in Wonder

Oldskool
Nice... Back down to the price I paid for that card 18 months ago. Damn bitcoin miners... They ruined custom PC building!!! *Gets out pitchfork*
A decent card if it taps out your budget. Remember the amount of VRAM is NOT the only difference between a 1060 6GB and 1060 3GB.

The core and SM count is ~10% less on the 1060 3GB compared to the 1060 6GB.

GeForce GTX 1060 3GB: 1152 Shader Processors, 72 Texture mapping units, 9 streaming multiprocessors.

GeForce GTX 1060 6GB: 1280 Shader Processors, 80 Texture mapping units, 10 streaming multiprocessors.

That said, this is a good deal if you want an Asus 1060 3GB and I've added heat. If you're building a small gaming box, especially if you're looking for value (or only play eSports, OW PCMR represent) this is a perfectly reasonably choice.
Same price on Amazon as well currently

Best comment I've read today!

I remember thinking it was so modern to watch TV in a window on your PC.

In truth, it was pretty lame!

I assume this is an in-joke that I'm missing. Your statement is categorically not true.

I still use an ATI Remote Wonder Plus remote control on my Windows 10 desktop. Great for video and audio playback plus it controls the cursor.

Depends, it's arguably better ffvalue at £150 for the 1050Ti. It's definitely a slower card, the 3gb 1060 has less VRAM but more cores and runs faster. The 1060 3gb is a 33% price increase though, so there's a value angle.

33% price increase but you get way more than 33% more performance over the 1050ti.

Hello anon. Yup, value doesn't just mean price though - as others have pointed out you get much more than a 33% boost on performance by spending the extra £50.00.

Ahaha, cool, didn't realise it was you! (Although please remove my name, despite me being pretty easy to dox anyway. )

Yeah, personally if I could afford either then I'd go for the 1060 3GB (or better yet, 6GB).

But if you'd playing esports and are on a budget, that £50 may be better spent elsewhere.

There's arguably slightly less than a 33% less of an improvement in Overwatch for example, but obviously depends on settings. And if it does what you need, for 33% less, it can be a better value choice.
