670 is marginally better.

Should I buy this card? Looking to upgrade from a HD 6850. It seems like quite a good buy looking at other gtx 670 prices?

Looking at some reviews this would be around 55% better than your HD 6850, which would make an excellent boost for you.

Also has a healthy overclock & very good cooler - you'll be hard-pressed to do better for the price.

Is it worth getting the 4gb version of the card for another 10quid? Apparently Battlefield 4 requires 3gb of VRAM

Yes absolutely for only £10 extra - can't believe a 4Gb version costs so little extra!

Having said that, the 4Gb version is not overclocked. But it won't make much difference if greater amount of RAM is more important for your usage.
