This is a great mobo. Got this myself. Looking for the matx version though but usually more expensive
Nice price, 4 core a tough pill to swallow these days though
I've built my own PC about a year ago but if I upgrade my motherboard, does that cause an issue with windows authentication etc?

Just ring microsoft and explain that you changed your motherboard. My windows key is attached to my windows ID now. I told them that I was upgrading my PC all the time and it was causing problems activating.
I have an old i7 2600 I'm guessing this will fit it?

Same here. Got the Maximus VIII and looking for a z170/z270 mATX but as they're essentially deprecated it's not worth spending more then this amount on them.

I've changed my cpu and motherboard an win10 is still activated so I don't think it's a big problem like pervious versions of Windows.
