Q: Has anyone spotted which actual Asus Model that Currys/PCW are selling ?
Couldn't spot a number to tally to Asus's list - it looks as if it's a ME176CX
John Lewis are selling at a lower £99.95 and providing a 2yr warranty
johnlewis.com/asu…178
Although you'd miss out on Currys/PCW's "Intel App Packs promotion" (that only runs to January 29th 2015!)
Think most people would prefer a 2nd year of warranty ?
There are 10" models included - but think you'll find their street price is more £150-£200, eg TF103CX and TF103C
ooo TF103CX is £129.95 at John Lewis with 2 year warranty and then -£50!

ASUS been given the dreaded
HUKD Kiss of Death?
Comment
Probably cos it's not a nexus or Apple.
Although the reviews of the memo pad 7 rate it very highly
Just buy a Chromecast.
But that's another £20 at best on top of a tablet for £56 after trade-in as I already have cables, etc....
And/or if the initial £99.99 was mentioned as the MAIN cost/price for this Tablet in the 1st place by the OP too then .....
As the stated £49.99 that the OP has mentioned is neither the real price, nor is it guaranteed for obvious reasons? (I dont have a spare Tablet to sacrifice .. so for me £49.99 is not gonna happen either ..... ) yep.
