Great price for great tab. Gets fantastic reviews. Best tablet around this price I reckon.

Cash back starts tomorrow, should I wait to order? Or is it on collection?

I agree. I am a massive fan of this tablet. Love this more than I ever loved my Tab 2 10".

I bought this for my mammy & pappy a bit back for £130 and can say it's well worth it. Still hankering for the new Note 10 myself, but I'm more than happy borrowing this til that price drops.

I bought this for my daughter and am very impressed with it. Trying to decide if I NEED one...lol

No don't want one.

How does this compare to the original Nexus 7?

Also bought this for my daughter on release day but I spend more time on it than she does. Snappy, lovely screen, good battery life, reasonably up to date android version (4.2.2) and the deal breaker for me which is the SD card slot.

Paid £129 two months ago, tempted to buy another at this price

I keep holding off buying wifi only tablets hoping the lte nexus will hit the likes of John Lewis soon but these deals are mighty appealing. Worth looking at but reckon I will still hold off for a 3G or 4g tablet. What's peoples views on cellular tablets, yay or nay? I know I could tether but the battery life on my phone is pretty bad as it is

great tablet, i got one at pcworld with the £20 back.... better than the original nexus 7 imo as it has expandable storage and a rear facing camera, other than that specs are virtually the same.

for general browsing, play store, reading, viewing media, downloading etc it is a more than capable machine

Do u know if it can play avi files?

Thinking of buying one for both my girls to use for videos via show box app and educational apps...reviews seems to be mostly positive for this also

Tethering has made that market redundant. No one wants to pay extra for another sim.l

All Android tablets can, they're pretty much like PCs now, although some may struggle with very high bitrate HD stuff but even that can sometimes be solved with the right app.

The original nexus is a little better if you can find it for the same price. This was designed to be a cheaper version of it. The tegra is faster and the screen is better and the updates are controlled by Google so it'll be fully up to date.

Good price, i was after one until this came along. Had it a couple of weeks now and can not fault it. Nice free case as well.

I, like a lot of the above, bought this a few months ago for 130 quid from Curry's (in pink for my 4 yr old daughter - she's a whizz at it!). A very good tablet for same reasons mentioned above;
It hasn't broken down /crashed/heated up/frozen on us yet. Batter life is excellent. Picture quality is HD. Speed is fab. 1 year Curry's warranty. Overall very impressed.
What I would say, and some of you may be able to help/correct me on this, is that it's difficult to find screen protectors for it, and the nexus 7 ones don't fit - i found they're a millimeter too wide and long. Whilst on accessories, does anyone know where one can get a decent case/sleeve for these?
Thanks

Amazon has plenty & ebay has a few too. Plus if you can't find a screen protector for your device just buy a cheap one for a larger popular tablet and cut it down to size.

Why do most places not state it has GPS. (Not GPRS support) So can be used as a SatNav.

What about one of these. Can use it with lots of other devices as well, including tablets you buy in the future, without having to worry about including 3G.

Just bought an inexpensive one from an eBay seller. Sold as being for a Nexus 7, case and screen protector fit fine.

I bought a cheap kindle case from poundland or somewhere similar for my daughter, it fits it fine, only problem is she has to take it out to use rear facing camera, but it's not a big deal.

This Your text here is a low cost mifi for web connection

Bought 2 pink ones of these for my girls for christmas. A quality piece of kit

Tesco have the non HD version for £79.99 if you're lucky to get one I store, sold out online yet it's a current deal? Frustrating !

just seen on this site ( google nexus 7 ) someone has been in touch with pc world customer dept and you CANNOT use the ATAB codes in conjunction with the cash back offer so be warned as you will not get your money back folks

Incorrect on the screen, check the professional reviews of this online, all say the screen on this has much better color reproduction and is overall much more pleasant to look at than the nexus, even though it's the same resolution.

Not the new Nexus. Reviews compare the old model.

I'm after a decent quality screen protector too, but can't seem to find one with any decent reviews. Can anyone recommend one?
