Will this card be overkill for running World of Warcraft at 1080? My 780 GTX died the other day (damn 2nd hand off feebay) and running a spare 450 gtx from work at the moment. Was looking at getting a 2nd hand 660 just for WoW for around 60 but is it worth spending the extra and getting something brand new for once?
1050 is a bit faster than a 660 but if a 660 is all you need you might as well go for that

I think the 1050 is about 20% faster
Is a 1050ti much better?
Managed to get the super clocked version of EVGA for £75 from Amazon Warehouse Deals during the prime day, the box was a little damaged, but other than that it's great. This is a good price for a brand new one.
Ta for advice. Just grabbed a palit 660 gtx 2gb for £45 off notfreebay.
