Overclocker suck! so voted hot

Ha ha - I must admit its annoying not having product codes on their site - difficult to find the exact match - especially with motherboards!

Pretty obvious but for those that need the extra graphics compatability spec:

Slots
1 PCI Express x16 slot
2 PCI Express x1 slots
1 PCI Express x4 slot
2 PCI slots

This is expensive, it is only £103.39 at Scan for those who get free delivery or £110.43 for those that don't.

This is the same as the P5K which is £74, only has WiFi. Whats so special?

Actually if you check out the specification of these two boards the differences go quite a lot further than that.

A while back you could apply for free delivery for life. You can also get free delivery by being an active member of the Hexus forum.

Or being a constant contributor to Bit-Tech forums.

Not a criticism of the deal, but I've had nothing but bad news with my current Asus motherboard. I wont be buying Asus again.

Which Asus model did you have problems with, I've been reading that Asus P35 boards have problems with SATA drives not being recognised on certain ports.
I was looking to buy the Asus P5K-E, but now considering the Abit IP35 instead, it has similar specs but with no wi-fi which I don't need, and costs approx £90 shipped

Mine is the P5B-Deluxe Wifi.
The main problems are:
a) Either the on-board sound, or the network hardware cause frequent video freezing when playing games - found other posts on this, so not just me.
b) It has two gigabit network ports. However I never get more than 6-7% max network utilisation - which is the same as I used to get before I upgraded to gigabit (used to get max 60-70% on 100mb).

Now showing as £97.85 inc VAT with free delivery!

Thats a pretty feature packed board.
