Good price for the very recently released monitor. Currently £750 everywhere else however its out of stock due to demand.

I understand this may not be for everyone, but if you understand what it is you will see the value.

Supplier is European (they also sell on other amazon sites). You can get it for 674.56 from Amazon.it

The Asus PG279Q Gaming display has a maximum supported resolution of 2560×1440, also referred to as WQHD resolution. For a majority of gamers, this particular resolution is the most preferred one because of the faster GPUs you can get nowadays. They aren’t powerful enough (at least one of them) to be sufficient for 4K gaming at high refresh rates, so 1440p at 144Hz will have to do. Refresh rate means a lot more than resolution for most gamers anyways, so that is not a problem. And to top it off, this monitor is capable of reaching a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz when G-SYNC is enabled. (Only supported on GTX 960 and higher)!!

OcUK expects first shipments of this absolute stunning gaming monitor in November, stock shall be very tight and we expect limited numbers so we advice pre-ordering as early as possible to avoid disappointment and to have a monitor before Christmas.

Yes it is a great monitor, but I would not spend 700 quid on a monitor. You can get a surround 6x1080p for £360 from one of the recent deals
Its just 27" and its not a tv Cold

It's not whether you personally would spend it. It's whether its a deal. Show me another IPS monitor, with GSYNC, 165hz, 1440p.

You can get 6 cheap 1080p monitors but the quality isn't even in anyway comparable.
Ok its expensive but top end equipment always is. Its quite clear the first 2 posters have no idea about this monitor. If your in the market for such a high end monitor this looks like the best price

A deal for a premium expensive niche product is not going to get voted up... whether it's best price or not.

This isn't hotmonitordeals...

Says more about the people cold voting than it does the deal
This site hates asus mine got voted cold at £250! Lol
I found it for £616.21 delivered but not expected in until 26th November.

Edit: Yes its model Asus PG279Q and it cannot be posted as a deal or link since the merchant is not HUKD approved.

If you did, at least post it. Be sure its the 279Q too, not last years model.
The non IPS one from ASUS had quite a few issues, it was a 50/50 chance you would get one with dead pixels etc. Judging from the comments on various sites it looks like this one has issues too, you'd think for such a premium product ASUS would put the monitors through better quality control.
I have this so here's my take. For the price it is worth having all those features, especially because of g-sync, its just so damn good. Expect buttery smooth gameplay, no stutters not screen tearing, doesn't matter if the frame rate drops.. That being said these specific monitors still have batch issues with backlight bleed, some dead pixels and IPS glow and I originally had some issue with the display port not connecting. Its pretty bad practice for a company to slap a £750 tag and not supply quality, so for that reason, my advice is to stay the **** away from these beautiful yet damaged screens. They will come down in price eventually and you can expect better quality models in the near future. But if you are like me and are desperate for g-sync then this is your best option right now, just know of the drawbacks before you buy.

No offense but if your not sure what the deal is actually for, you shouldn't vote.
this deal is no good it is just trying to push the price of all monitors up, if this is worth 675 then the next one down is 600 and so on. you would have to be very rich or very stupid to spend that on a monitor. while i am moaning why do we in the uk have to pay an extra 25% approx more than the americans for the same pc stuff
it is a good deal for the time being, but as with all other cutting edge technologies, the price will go down dramatically when similar products surface

More regulations, trade deals are negotiated by the EU not us, import taxes, currency conversions.

Wouldn't bet on it. Last years model hardly dropped and nor did the Acer equivalents. The equivalent Acer will be in a similar price range too.

In addition to the 165hz and Gsync was what I meant. The one you posted is 60hz (although can be overclocked) and lacks GSync.

Is this a genuine comment? The mind boggles! This is a high end gaming monitor, arguably the best at the moment. And this is the cheapest price I have seen it for... Why vote cold if you don't understand what is on offer here? Just move along and look at tv's if that is what you want...
